    A lifetime .300 hitter, a cancer survivor, a fun loving, quality player, loved and respected by his peers and by all MLB fans, and a 1-derful human being. John Kruk deserves a plaque in the Hall Of Excellence.

    Kruk, Dutch, Nails, etc. this was a fun team to watch. These guys were wild, good time in baseball history.

    Rip Dutch.. Daulton n Kruk were 2 of my favorite players growing up.. Both great guys who cares about Philadelphia n just truly wanted to enjoy life.. Dutch will be greatly missed.

      Yeah, he could hit. Very similar to Tony Gwynn or Wade Boggs during the late 80's and early 90's.

    As a Padres fan I saw John in 1985 in Vegas the Padres triple A team. John hit a homerun over the McDonald's sign and got big Macs for a year. We all loved John's time in San Diego

    Great times great memoires...Being a phils fan I went to his wall of fame induction night last year and was very lucky enough to meet the Krucker. I came prepared with 1 of his cards from 1989 and he was nice enough to sign it and my Kruk jersey! He's a hell of a guy.

    I remember him being interviewed on Letterman, after being asked about his routine before the game. He said he gets to the ballpark a couple hours before the game, has a couple hot dogs, then takes a nap on the trainers table.

    So glad he’s doing the telecasts now. Great hearing his "insights" on the game. That ‘93 team and season was really something special. Just a bunch of blue collar types working hard at their jobs. 😎🤘😷

    I was a diehard fan of his as a teen. Have a plaque with his baseball card hanging on my wall that I bought in 92. He made me a Phillies fan and a baseball fan too.
