Wish I could enjoy it like you do. This game just didn't do it for me, but I do like the setting so I search for others' playthrough and funny videos like this one to watch the story.
@@Achelouz Maybe you could try Pocket Edition first before jumping into the big one. It's way more straight-forward, definitely. But still intact its brotherhood charm.

Umbra was supposed to have a human form in the original (Versus XIII) and he was a Shinobi. That would've explained why he was able to deliver letters to and from Luna without being shot on sight. Also the portrayal of the characters in this animation is identical to the game, so great job.

XD Though to put it more positive positively I'd say Ignis is the faithful servant/retainer, Gladiolus is the king's shield (literally that's his title), and Prompto is the heart/soul of the group, keeping everybody's spirits up with jokes, photographs, and just by generally being himself.

The whole marriage part of ffxv was pretty lame. They had no reason to get married anymore since it was only part of the nilfheim treaty which was broken in the end. The romance in this game felt forced. Might as well have just let this game be about the bros only. Or make Luna play a bigger part in the story in order for romance to truly develop.
