This happened about a month ago to me in my sleep. An evil spirit disguised itself as my sister. At first, we were having fun attending an event together. Things didn't feel quite right and took a turn for the strange when she was asking me to worship lucifer with her. Knowing my sister would never in her right mind, I immediately started to pray, the spirit went from a manifestation that resembled my sister to looking dark and ugly as it became furious when I began to rebuke it in Jesus Christ's name. It had dug its claws into my hands and I felt a stinging pain. It began to mock me as I started praying the Our Father, reciting the words along with me. Jesus taught us to not be afraid for He is always with us. I told it that I was not afraid and its days are numbered for our saviour Jesus Christ will come with a vengeful wrath and will destroy Satan and his minions. I called out Jesus' name and eventually, that evil spirit went away. Praise be to you Lord Jesus Christ, for they quiver in fear at the sound of your name. Praise Yashua for He is King!

Wow, this is just what I needed. My church had a conference this week (4 days long) and I’ve been sulking in the Spirit, so the enemy is mad and sending me all these disturbing dreams. I believe that he is trying to deceive me and even place people from my church in my dreams. I rebuked them immediately bc I knew. So I say this, to the people that don’t know. Rebuke immediately if you have these dreams. The enemy is at work everyday and it is up to us to charge at him with the Holy Spirit! Do not be deceived by the enemy. Definitely, demons can shapeshift. I was once being demonized and something I found pride in was being able to shapeshift. I would go to networking business events and deep down was proud of being able to "socialize" with different types of people, not realizing I was people pleasing, I was being fake and deceiving.
This is actually very interesting . It’s almost like you made yourself an actor in your own life and for these people . But good for you for realizing that ! When I was adopted at around age 2 renounced everything that had to do with my past that could possibly hurt me. I used to have reoccurring dreams of my deceased grandmother. She passed away when I was young, around 10 years old and I thought it was a good thing that she was “visiting “ me in my dreams since we were close and I missed her. I experienced those dreams with her through 2021. We would always spend time sitting somewhere in the sun talking or in a restaurant type setting in those dreams. In the final dream I had with her in it , her mother was there with her (I never met my great grandmother), Although , I have seen pictures of her. The setting in the final dream was dark and they were communicating with me telepathically in an unknown tongue. The energy was heavy. I felt scared and worried. When I woke up I knew this was abnormal and I prayed and rebuked them. I never experienced those dreams since . The ironic thing is that I was pregnant at the time that I experienced that final dream and then , I miscarried a couple days after . Very scary.

Had a dream about my mom. I went lucid, realized it wasn’t her, told it that I knew it wasn’t really my mom, and it morphed her face into something demonic and smiled at me. Had to concentrate to wake myself up from it. It’s a scary thing, because I lucid dream and interact with these things all the time, and they always turn demonic if I do or say anything that lets them know I’m aware I’m asleep
Another example. I had a dream about my girlfriend, went lucid, told it that I knew I was dreaming, and then it ran up to my face and said it would “kill us both”. Meaning my girlfriend and I, I guess. Sometimes these dreams will trigger sleep paralysis, where I won’t see any beings, but I’ll feel them choke me with their hands and tell me they’re going to kill me. Always a woman’s voice, always a woman in my life that’s turning demonic in my dreams. I think I have a female demon in me

Hallo Pastor Richard. I need some clarity, if you don’t mind. I only seek 100% truth. 1. A familiar spirit - as you explain is bad. 2. The Word says that consulting them is bad not the spirit. (Like in scripture, the spirit of Samuel was not bad but when Saul consulted Samuel’s spirit through the medium, the act was bad and he got punished for the act) 3. What then is a familiar spirit, one that is present without being consulted or is not there to do harm? Is it a family members spirit as the bible says or is it a spirit that knows the family. Scripturally it looks like the family members spirit. 4. The 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 scripture you use seems out of context for this topic, so I cannot except it as relative explanation. 5. Is it then possible that some dead people’s spirits can still be present without being consulted. Whether they are there for good reason or bad reason, does not matter for this question.
Just curious. Why is it in this dude's evangelism videos 90% of the time he says to someone " you are called to be a prophet/prophetess" . I have been wondering this myself . I’ve heard countless stories of dead people coming back to tell someone what happened to them like the psychics you’re talking about . I truly believe that these psychics do indeed have a special gift which is receiving these messages but the problem is they are receiving messages from demons who knows everything about our family bloodline . That’s the issue . But…I believe if they can tune out the demon voices if they can start listening to Gods actual messages . Also to explain your daughter and the countless stories you hear about something like your story I asked the same thing…why would Satan want to help because he definitely doesn’t want to help any of us obviously …but maybe it’s God using his angels to disguise themselves as your loved one in order to get your attention especially if the message is very important such as solving an unsolved murder . Everything the devil does is to pervert everything that God created . I know God wants to help everyone who has dealt with an unsolved murder or a missing person , maybe people was given the message but are to afraid to speak up because it’s a supernatural encounter some people would get too freaked out . The answers are out there , the missing bodies of people are out there , the answer to an unsolved death is out there , I pray that everyone finds those answers so they can move forward . Those situations are always horrible , I can’t even imagine not knowing what happened to a loved one . That’s why we all need to get right with Jesus and get close to him . If these families who are desperate to find their loved ones or wants to get answers for an unsolved murders it’s the time now to get close to him because I truly believe sooner or later we will be hearing about many unsolved mysteries being solved and people finding missing persons .

Wow, I’m surprised to hear you say that demons can appear as someone living @ 2:14. I experienced that on two separate occasions. On one occasion, my ex-husband had gone to work, and I went back to bed after he left the house. I woke up from feeling movement in the bed. It was my ex-husband. I turned around and saw him lying there with his back turned away from me. I got up to put my shoes on as I told him to get up and asked why he had come back home. When I turned around to face him, he had vanished. I immediately called him at work, and he answered the phone. The second incident happened years later. I was off work, vacuuming the house. My husband at the time, was at work. I felt a presence behind me, down the hallway, so I quickly turned around and saw my husband standing there staring at me. I yelled out, “you are not my husband. Get out in the name of Jesus” and it disappeared. I called my husband, and sure enough, he was at work. He also saw me in the hallway when I was out of town on a business trip. I have many stories of strange events in my lifetime.

My 1st recollection of a strange event was when I was four or five years old in Portland, Oregon. A dark figure would come to the door of the bedroom my sister and I shared. I thought it was Jesus because I didn’t know what He looked like. I would often hear my parents and the church tell people to “let Jesus into your heart” so I thought the black human-looking figure came so he could enter our hearts. But my sister and I would only see it at night. I wasn’t afraid though, because I thought it was Jesus there to protect us. As a teenager in Japan, I would experience small black entities about 2 feet tall grabbing my ankles and pulling me out of bed. I would fight and scream because I didn’t know where they were trying to take me. I’d call on Jesus and they would disappear. My mother would come in my room and say I was just having a bad dream, however I had not, on any of those occasions, gone to sleep yet. I’ve had many dreams throughout my life with demons of all sorts chasing me trying to kill me. On one occasion, I was given wings to fly above the clouds for protection. In Austin, while at work as a computer operator, I worked in the building alone doing backups and running reports for the management team, I was suddenly punched in the back. It knocked the breath out of me. That shook me up a bit. On another workday around 2 AM, I heard people partying, loud music, laughter, and talking in our customer service area. It was so loud I couldn’t concentrate on the reports. As I approached the customer service area to ask why there were people in the building partying when no one was supposed to be there, and why they were so loud. I noticed the lights weren’t even on. As I got closer to the area, it became silent. No one was in the building but me. I’ve had many encounters & strange situations at work, at home, and in public. So I’m constantly praying and telling these spirits to go in the name of Jesus. I also make sure not to bring anything around me that’s associated with false gods or satanic rituals.

I had a dream almost like that too... My mother appeared in a dream (4 years after she passed). The room was bright white, she was wearing white as well - I think. Anyway, I ran in her arms.. it felt so peaceful. She was very serious though, as if she was on a mission. I was crying tears of joy and she told me this was going to be the last time we will see eachother, but that she will be there with me at my 10th birthday (my birthday was due in a week). I haven't dreamt of my Mother ever since and I believe God let us rejoice before her soul rested. I was her only girl, she died when I was five.

Man it’s wild how God speaks to many of us about a certain matter …it’s been on my mind to speaks about familiar spirits cause last week I found myself mentioning familiar spirits to peak ole I’ve talked to and many don’t seem to know about these spirits! 🙏🏾💯

Hey there! Wanted to let you know I’m praying and will keep on praying for your wife. I am an ex-Catholic myself. I really hope that this bit of my story helps: When I say I’m an ex-Catholic, I do not mean those that “just go to Mass.” I KNEW the doctrine, back to back. I was deep into it and even attended the Traditional Latin mass. Would pray in Latin. Would recite the entire rosary more than once a day. My point is: I had friends interceding for me that I didn’t know about. I simply started feeling uncomfortable and started to question everything. That’s when I got to studying Scripture. Long story short, I got delivered from that deception. All glory to God! I’m certain He will make a way to your wife, do intercede for her without ceasing! 😊 🙏🏻

Definitely, demons can shapeshift.
I was once being demonized and something I found pride in was being able to shapeshift. I would go to networking business events and deep down was proud of being able to "socialize" with different types of people, not realizing I was people pleasing, I was being fake and deceiving.
This is actually very interesting . It’s almost like you made yourself an actor in your own life and for these people . But good for you for realizing that ! I would’ve never thought of something like this to be honest and I know many people who are like this too like I know when they gonna put on their fakeness for certain types of people in certain situations.

When I was adopted at around age 2 renounced everything that had to do with my past that could possibly hurt me.
But the family I was adopted into we recently lost my brother September of last year. family keeps hearing my brother. My nephews both told there mom my niece did you hear grandpa at a wrestling match, they where at different places of the gym and they heard my brother cheering on my nephew at the wrestling match. My moms heard him say mom numerous times.

I used to have reoccurring dreams of my deceased grandmother. She passed away when I was young, around 10 years old and I thought it was a good thing that she was “visiting “ me in my dreams since we were close and I missed her. I experienced those dreams with her through 2021. We would always spend time sitting somewhere in the sun talking or in a restaurant type setting in those dreams. In the final dream I had with her in it , her mother was there with her (I never met my great grandmother), Although , I have seen pictures of her. The setting in the final dream was dark and they were communicating with me telepathically in an unknown tongue. The energy was heavy. I felt scared and worried. When I woke up I knew this was abnormal and I prayed and rebuked them. I never experienced those dreams since . The ironic thing is that I was pregnant at the time that I experienced that final dream and then , I miscarried a couple days after . Very scary.

Had a dream about my mom. I went lucid, realized it wasn’t her, told it that I knew it wasn’t really my mom, and it morphed her face into something demonic and smiled at me. Had to concentrate to wake myself up from it. It’s a scary thing, because I lucid dream and interact with these things all the time, and they always turn demonic if I do or say anything that lets them know I’m aware I’m asleep

I am in a desperate spiritual battle. Can I privately get in contact? I need some clarity, if you don’t mind. I only seek 100% truth.
1. A familiar spirit - as you explain is bad.
2. The Word says that consulting them is bad not the spirit. (Like in scripture, the spirit of Samuel was not bad but when Saul consulted Samuel’s spirit through the medium, the act was bad and he got punished for the act)
3. What then is a familiar spirit, one that is present without being consulted or is not there to do harm? Is it a family members spirit as the bible says or is it a spirit that knows the family. Scripturally it looks like the family members spirit.
4. The 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 scripture you use seems out of context for this topic, so I cannot except it as relative explanation.
5. Is it then possible that some dead people’s spirits can still be present without being consulted. Whether they are there for good reason or bad reason, does not matter for this question.

I have been wondering this myself . I’ve heard countless stories of dead people coming back to tell someone what happened to them like the psychics you’re talking about . I truly believe that these psychics do indeed have a special gift which is receiving these messages but the problem is they are receiving messages from demons who knows everything about our family bloodline . That’s the issue . But…I believe if they can tune out the demon voices if they can start listening to Gods actual messages . Also to explain your daughter and the countless stories you hear about something like your story I asked the same thing…why would Satan want to help because he definitely doesn’t want to help any of us obviously …but maybe it’s God using his angels to disguise themselves as your loved one in order to get your attention especially if the message is very important such as solving an unsolved murder . Everything the devil does is to pervert everything that God created . I know God wants to help everyone who has dealt with an unsolved murder or a missing person , maybe people was given the message but are to afraid to speak up because it’s a supernatural encounter some people would get too freaked out . The answers are out there , the missing bodies of people are out there , the answer to an unsolved death is out there , I pray that everyone finds those answers so they can move forward . Those situations are always horrible , I can’t even imagine not knowing what happened to a loved one . That’s why we all need to get right with Jesus and get close to him . If these families who are desperate to find their loved ones or wants to get answers for an unsolved murders it’s the time now to get close to him because I truly believe sooner or later we will be hearing about many unsolved mysteries being solved and people finding missing persons .

Wow, I’m surprised to hear you say that demons can appear as someone living @ 2:14. I experienced that on two separate occasions. On one occasion, my ex-husband had gone to work, and I went back to bed after he left the house. I woke up from feeling movement in the bed. It was my ex-husband. I turned around and saw him lying there with his back turned away from me. I got up to put my shoes on as I told him to get up and asked why he had come back home. When I turned around to face him, he had vanished. I immediately called him at work, and he answered the phone.
The second incident happened years later. I was off work, vacuuming the house. My husband at the time, was at work. I felt a presence behind me, down the hallway, so I quickly turned around and saw my husband standing there staring at me. I yelled out, “you are not my husband. Get out in the name of Jesus” and it disappeared. I called my husband, and sure enough, he was at work. He also saw me in the hallway when I was out of town on a business trip. I have many stories of strange events in my lifetime.

My 1st recollection of a strange event was when I was four or five years old in Portland, Oregon. A dark figure would come to the door of the bedroom my sister and I shared. I thought it was Jesus because I didn’t know what He looked like. I would often hear my parents and the church tell people to “let Jesus into your heart” so I thought the black human-looking figure came so he could enter our hearts. But my sister and I would only see it at night. I wasn’t afraid though, because I thought it was Jesus there to protect us.
As a teenager in Japan, I would experience small black entities about 2 feet tall grabbing my ankles and pulling me out of bed. I would fight and scream because I didn’t know where they were trying to take me. I’d call on Jesus and they would disappear. My mother would come in my room and say I was just having a bad dream, however I had not, on any of those occasions, gone to sleep yet.
I’ve had many dreams throughout my life with demons of all sorts chasing me trying to kill me. On one occasion, I was given wings to fly above the clouds for protection.
In Austin, while at work as a computer operator, I worked in the building alone doing backups and running reports for the management team, I was suddenly punched in the back. It knocked the breath out of me. That shook me up a bit. On another workday around 2 AM, I heard people partying, loud music, laughter, and talking in our customer service area. It was so loud I couldn’t concentrate on the reports. As I approached the customer service area to ask why there were people in the building partying when no one was supposed to be there, and why they were so loud. I noticed the lights weren’t even on. As I got closer to the area, it became silent. No one was in the building but me. I’ve had many encounters & strange situations at work, at home, and in public. So I’m constantly praying and telling these spirits to go in the name of Jesus. I also make sure not to bring anything around me that’s associated with false gods or satanic rituals.

I had a dream almost like that too... My mother appeared in a dream (4 years after she passed). The room was bright white, she was wearing white as well - I think. Anyway, I ran in her arms.. it felt so peaceful. She was very serious though, as if she was on a mission. I was crying tears of joy and she told me this was going to be the last time we will see eachother, but that she will be there with me at my 10th birthday (my birthday was due in a week). I haven't dreamt of my Mother ever since and I believe God let us rejoice before her soul rested. I was her only girl, she died when I was five.
I will never forget that dream for as long as I live. Praise God! I am 25 today
