Yeah this plane was well thought out in design. I remember these at Sembach AFB in West Germany. Could land on rural roads get refueled, rearmed and get ready to repel the Soviet tanks which would have been invading. Good times. We had OV-10s and CH-53's as well.
Thanks again for a great video. Amazing what these pilots and aircraft can do. As always, God bless you and your family. Thank you for all you do! 🙏👍🇺🇸😊
And think about the afterburner scorch from an F-16 on an asphalt road... I'm guessing the A-10 is better suited for this kind of work. Hey, thanks for watching and commenting.
And take a look at this A-10 belly landing from the Airailimages Channel: th-cam.com/video/o8B4dsIhyt4/w-d-xo.html

Having A-10's from Davis Monthan flying over my house every day is the thing I miss the most from living in Tucson for 17 years..

Makes sense this would be considered for training ops. Those trees and power poles look much closer from the cockpit view.
This is cool.
Is the C-146A only operated by Special Ops?
Love the A-10 great aircraft.
Thanks for the video.
DO- 328, cool!!!! Didn’t know we bought some for military
Who does the FOD checks in a combat zone? Granted, the engine nacelles are high. Great design but good luck with an F-16.
