  • When you tell others about the dispensation of the grace of God given to Paul, the revelation of the mystery of Christ, the gospel of your salvation, they will react. The response you receive may be that of a faithful workman, though uncommon. Learn about the common responses to Mid-Acts Dispensationalism in this lesson

I was frowned upon and even called problematic, with a very strange theology by my own father who was a missionary for 30years. This all happened 25 years before I even heard the words "rightly dividing" I went to Bible Institute in 1996 because I had a hunger for truth in the midst of many denominations and differences and end time prophecies and different baptisms which to me looked like a mess loaded with confusion. In Bible Institute I was a committed "christian" and thought that my decision to live for God and me turning away from sin was what it was all about to be a "christian". During my second year in Bible Institute while busy with a degree in theology, I came to the shocking realisation that my righteousness and decision to serve God was a lie. For a while I told everyone that if it depended on me I will not choose God but rather choose myself. I was told that God would keep me and that He would give me the strength to always choose Him and I believed it, but not for long. One day the opportunity arose for me to make a decision between right and wrong and I chose what I wanted, the wrong. This shattered my belief system to the point where I wanted to end the studies and leave the Bible Institute because I was not willing to live a christian lie and di not consider myself to be a "christian" anymore.. At this time I went into my room and very simply and in my mind asked God "how is it then possible to be saved?" God answered quietly; " Jesus died for your sins" What followed was a spiritual "experience" where I just lied down on my bed and it felt like water washing over me and cleansing me from all my sins. After that I read the Bible daily for hours. I mostly read Paul's epistles and would daily read 2 or 3 of them because in Paul's epistles I found this Grace by which I was saved from my sins. People called me Pauline, because I did not have much interrest in the four gospels and I found the letters of Peter and James problematic and contradictory to what I believed in my inner man. I did not understand everything in Pauls Epistles and mostly stuck with Romans and Galatians. I did however have a problem with sin and could not stop no matter how hard I tried. I finished Bible Institute and started working, but I always looked out for an opportunity to talk to people about salvation and forgiveness of sins based on the cross and blood work of Christ. But I never really understood the resurrection and why Paul said that without the resurrection our faith would be in vain. I mostly believed that he was referring to Jesus being God and that the resurrection was proof of that. People called me a Calvinist because I preached by Faith alone through Grace alone to the glory of God alone! I carried on and lived a fleshly life for well over 20 years but always knew I was saved by Grace and that my salvation could never be taken away from me. Early in 2021 I read a post on Facebook about 2 Tim 2: 15 and saw the words "Rightly dividing the word of truth" As always I research everything and did the same with this phrase. I ended up spending approximately 4 months and at least 6 hours every day searching the scriptures and testing the bible studies of youtube channels such as Grace Bible Church, Richard Jordan and mostly Grace Ambassadors. I found myself between my bible and on my knees and brought every thought to God in prayer. I doubted everything I heard but tested it through scripture and could not believe what I read and how it was possible that I never even read certain passages or understood what they meant and just read over them. For the first time in my life and nearly 25 years after graduating from Bible Institute the contradictions in the Bible disappeared and the Word of God just opened up and became so easy to understand and read. Everything in the Bible made sense, but I still battled with sin.... Eventually, not long ago through a study in Romans 8 with GA I found faith in the Body of Christ and my inheritance and adoption as son of God and eternal glory in Christ. This was the second major spiritual "experience" since that day in my room and through faith I found my position in Christ and for the first time ever I understood what it meant to walk in the spirit. Not only this, but I received spiritual knowledge and understanding about God and His wisdom and His plan and Will. By rightly dividing the Word of Truth, the gospel of Grace and Paul's message was isolated as the Gospel that God gave us Now! I now have such an hunger to study the Word of Truth, the entire Bible! Old testament, the gospels, prophets, epistles to the little flock, because it all reveals God's wisdom and plan from beginning to end! Thank you Grace Ambassadors, thank you Justin. God answered my many prayers that started more than 25 years ago, to know the truth, because I always knew and believed that there must be one truth regarding the Bible and the message about Jesus - I now can say confidently that I found that truth through rightly dividing the Word of Truth. In Christ I was raised from the dead and I was seated in heavenly places with Him through His death and resurrection. I can see the fellowship of the mystery and I can see and understand the wisdom and truth of God which He revealed through Jesus Christ! Christ in me and I IN Him now allows me to put the deeds of the flesh behind me and produce the fruit of the spirit. I look forward to my death and I love to live everyday with Christ in me.

The Church defines what is heresy. Council of Trent, Can. 5. If anyone says that baptism is optional , that is, not necessary for salvation, let him be anathema. Can. 2. If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ: “Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost,” let him be anathema.

Like the red letters are the only words of God.... or "Dispensationalism is not real and has been proven false"'. Yet we find the word 4 times in Pauls doctrine KJV.

Interesting that Justin is mentioning an organization called Pulse. Reminds me of a youth organization l was involved with way back in the early 1970s , during my high school years called Youth for Christ Campus Life. They were non denominational Lordship salvation evangelicals. Blind leading the blind and ignorant on so many levels biblically. A love and buddy club. No Pauline doctrine understood at all. Typical evangelical kingdom gospel. Big on John 3:16 , being born again etc. Very little time spent actually studying the bible, certainly no right division. That type of "Christian" experience you can't grow in grace or really learn truth, you wind up with a vapid shipwrecked experience ultimately. As nice, sincere and zealous as they strained to be. When your doctrine is off, it just does not work. A social love club lots of "wholesome" fun and games for highschoolers where you kept your dirty dozen, and filthy five Romans 7 struggles a secret and pretended. Never having a clear understanding on much. Had one guy l loved dearly tell me all the time take Jesus and make Him Lord. Didn't know a thing about Pauline doctrine. That plus being raised in a "Baptwist" church.

Mid acts believes that the gospel that saves today, began with Paul. However, this idea furthermore suggest that Paul and Jesus must have preached two different messages. This is both false and problematic. Paul's entire message is how the life and work of Christ saves us and sanctifies us, so how is that two different messages? Paul's message is a summary of how Christ's work affords or effecates salvation by grace. So how is Christ's life and ministry and message different from Pauls or even Pater's. Paul's explanation of Christ's work does not warrant a new dispensation. The new dispensation began when Jesus offered His life to God, as the new mediation between God and man. Paul is not the new mediator between God and man.

AV1611 Travel and Tours and snarknado Amen brethren!!! Here is a verse for BrWilson
This is Paul claiming to be the first in the body of Christ and our pattern.
“Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.”
      ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬
And here Paul claims to be the last to see Christ also.
“And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.”
      ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
And here Paul claims to fulfill the word of God by revelation of Jesus.
“Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;”
      ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Nowhere in scripture do any of the twelve preach that belief in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ was necessary for salvation. Only Paul. And by the verses I quoted should give you well enough the idea that since Paul was the first in the body abd the last to see Chris shows that all of the revelations for the books that the twelve wrote were done before Paul finished his epistles. Which begs the question why are Hebrews through revelation after Paul’s books??? And why is the New Testament in the Bible organized like it is??? Once you come to the knowledge of the truth and learn what is the fellowship of the mystery then you’ll be able to correctly answers those questions. But that’s if you have an open mind and heart to Gods word. May grace and peace be with you

BrWilson also, a dispensation didn’t start with Jesus dying, his death was a fulfillment of prophecy for Israel not the beginning of a dispensation. Jesus ministry started with the twelve and taught them for 3 1/2 years and after his death they were to preach what Jesus taught them to Israel not any gentiles. I think you should study more to show thyself approved unto God. You are following denominational teachings from others who don’t get it.

@@DonutDumpster When Jesus or John the Baptist preached that the kingdom of God was at hand it meant that the kingdom of God was presently manifest in the advent of Christ. Prophecy tells us that The Blessing of Abraham would originate from the Jews unto the entire world as one single unit. Since Israel rejected Christ Jesus told them that the kingdom "would be taken from them and given to a nation bearing the fruits thereof". There are not two kingdoms of God.

@@gracefellowship9494 None of the Apostles preached any different form of salvation other than that which was through Christ. Trying to separate dispensations based upon what terminology each apostle uses is ridiculous. There is only one Kingdom, and one covenant, one messiah, and one universal blessing of Abraham to all nations...in Christ. Besides, Paul said that the gospel which he preached was for the Jew first and the gentiles second. Peter was sent by God to both Jews and gentiles and claimed in Acts chapter 10 that everyone everywhere who doeth righteousness is accepted by God in Christ. There simply isn't the distinction between the message of Peter and the message of Paul that you are trying to insist. Even Paul says in Ephesians chapter 2 that both Jew and gentile are brought together in Christ having the same access to God the Father through the same Spirit. To propose mid-Acts dispensationalism, you would have to throw out the entire second chapter of Ephesians.

  • @heyman5525
    @heyman5525 5 ปีที่แล้ว

We can know that mid acts dispensationalism is problematic or faulty simply because Jesus became the mediator of the New covenant when His blood was shed and the temple veil was torn and when He ascended and was glorified and manifest at Pentecost. The mediation of the New Covenant did not begin with Paul.

    • @deborahhouck1519

The new covenant is for Israel only.
      Jeremiah 31:31
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah
      Hebrews 8:8
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Hebrews 8:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord

    • @gracefellowship9494

SwordOfTheKingdom you are quick to jump on the boat of division calling people who understand the difference between a mystery program and prophecy program “hyper” funny thing is every verse you used to support your beliefs, belong to the Hebrew epistles. Yes, the new covenant begins with the blood. And that new covenant was promised to Israel and Jesus died before Paul’s conversion meaning that Israel was still the center of Gods attention. But let’s not forget that Israel stoned Stephen “blaspheming the Holy Ghost” abd because of that Israel was spiritually blinded and set aside until the times of the gentiles be fulfilled.
“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.”
      ‭‭Romans‬ ‭11:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬
It doesn’t matter how you chop it up, the twelve taught a gospel totally different than Paul. The only way to make it seem the same is by spiritualizing the crap out of the Bible... I guess the big question here would be before any discussion can happen effectively is to know what you’re trusting in for salvation??? Then if or when you’re saved, move onto the next question, do you believe in a perfectly preserved word of God? And if so, which translation is it?

The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom!
Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21
    Matt 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Jesus said the Father is the only true God!
    John 17
3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

@@mitchellc4 Some who deny that Jesus is God make the claim that Jesus never said that He is God. It is correct that the Bible never records Jesus saying the precise words, “I am God.” This does not mean, however, that Jesus never claimed to be God.
Is Jesus God? - Jesus claimed to be God.
Take for example the words of Jesus in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God. They tried to stone Him for this very reason: “You, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33, emphasis added). The Jews understood exactly what Jesus was claiming-deity. When Jesus declared, “I and the Father are one,” He was saying that He and the Father are of one nature and essence. John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth … before Abraham was born, I am!” This is a reference back to Exodus 3:14 when God revealed Himself as the “I AM.” The Jews who heard this statement responded by taking up stones to kill Him for blasphemy, as the Mosaic Law commanded (Leviticus 24:16).
Is Jesus God? - His followers declared Him to be God.
John reiterates the concept of Jesus’ deity: “The Word [Jesus] was God” and “the Word became flesh” (John 1:1, 14). These verses clearly indicate that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, “Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood.” Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. And this same verse declares that God purchased His church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God.
Thomas the disciple declared concerning Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the coming of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In Hebrews 1:8, the Father declares of Jesus, “But about the Son He says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The Father refers to Jesus as God, indicating that Jesus is indeed God.
In Revelation, an angel instructed the apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation did. Beyond these, there are many other passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus being God.
Is Jesus God? - The reason Jesus must be God.
The most important reason that Jesus must be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death.
Is Jesus God? Yes. Jesus declared Himself to be God. His followers believed Him to be God. The provision of salvation only works if Jesus is God. Jesus is God incarnate, the eternal Alpha and Omega (Revelation 1:8; 22:13), and God our Savior (2 Peter 1:1). The Trinity is found through out the OT and NT. If JESUS is not fully God and fully man then He is not able to take away the sins of the world. To deny JESUS is God is to deny JESUS completely as the Muslims do and salvation is far from you for the spirit of God is not in you!
