    Hello Nyishar, I think it's over 10 years ago I used to watch this channel. you were just different Nyishar, to a lot of content creators, you have always really intellectual grade content.
    I figured I needed you now more than ever, I got the staph infection, I don't know how effective the meds are, but I just went into nyishar mode, and cooked myself some turmeric with pepper. I can't let this thing get to me. I'm only 34 so yeah back at it, trying to see what else you have of interesting content to experiment with on my own person. now that I am in survival mode, maybe the autopilot can just go: "what would Nyishar do?" in terms of surviving an infection.
    Best regards.

      Yes the family of Artemisia's are tremendously supportive when collaborated with appropriately, when necessary, and with genuine respect and admiration. Excellent medicine, but with just enough poison to assert strong and healthy boundaries. If you are lucky enough to live near some wild Artemisia's, then some very interesting doors are potentially open to you.

    Another masterpiece of a video, thank you so much! You truly honoured Artemisia like she deserves to be. The intro is simply amazing, as you approach the plant and with that music, what a majestic moment, you have captured it so well! I have been inhalingg mugwort daily for several years - in a mix with damiana and another herb - and whereas I feel the various effects of Damiana quite clearly for instance, the effects of Mugwort seem much more subtle. I have neglected it in the last year as I somewhat let up on my strict practices, but after this video I intend to use it and worship it again more, because I feel the effects you describe are exactly what I've known in the past and what I've been missing. Thank you so much for the inspiration to reconnect more deeply with the Goddess of the wilderness. You are a great man!

    Hello our good friend.
    We are IN the wettest part of the UK - N.I.
    Tried many times to grow Mugwort outdoor, doesn't grow. Tried to grow indoor under light and Windowsill, doesn't grow. Bought as a large plant from EU, after 4 month died of.
    Is any recommendations you can give for growing this amazing plant?

    • @Nyishar
      @Nyishar  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ah I see. Yes Mugwort has a very wild nature and grows only where it chooses. It is not so easy to cultivate and tends to propagate via rhizome distribution rather than seed dispersal. It also prefers low quality soil in disturbed and often derelict areas. Identifying it in the wild is best if you can find it in your area. Otherwise it can be grown from a wild root cutting, but again, if the location where it is planted is not suitable, then it just won't do well. If you can find wild specimens where you are then this will be ideal, as the plant will be so much stronger and more nutritious/medicinal than any you could cultivate. However, if it enjoys the soil and microclimate, it can spread quickly and be near impossible to get rid of. In short, there are a number of variables to meet in order to succeed with cultivation, hence wild-harvesting is infinitely easier if you can find it.

    Thankyou for this.Mug wort introduced itself to me and has been nudging me ever-increasinly to pay it more attention. Would the use of mug wort show up in drug test due to its similarity to thc? I would love to begin to work with her, but am co concerned that it might get me sacked if It came up in a urine test. Really appreciate the video and any advice you may be able to provide on this area? 🙏

    • @Nyishar
      @Nyishar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a very good question, but unfortunately I do not have the answer as I don't know how accurate or vague the urine test may be. Thujone is chemically similar to THC but by no means is it identical. Also, the potency of thujone within a single specimen of Mugwort is exponentially less than the quantity of THC found in any psychoactive strain of cannabis. I want to say that it will be fine (it probably is), but there is no way of knowing for sure. You can only be certain by trying it for yourself, but of course there is a risk factor that you must be aware of.

      Many thanks my friend. Glad you enjoyed it. That’s great your LM flush keeps coming back. I’m in the Loire Valley in France and there are many large forests here with so many wild mushrooms. Yet to find LM though. Gourmet mushrooms are big in this country though so they may have to legislate the foraging of it like they did in the UK. Expensive restaurants were the cause of near-extinction of LM in the UK forests and it is now illegal to pick it, although nobody enforces that law. Could possibly end up the same here which is a bummer. Still plenty of species to choose from in the wild though. It’s good your spot is so close to home - hopefully it’ll keep fruiting for years to come!
