Thanks for watching everyone! What patterns are you running this time of year? Let me know below! 👇

I've been throwing buzzbaits and poppers. I've really pretty much only fished topwater. The walking bait/spook bite was on for a while but for me buzzbaits and poppers have been killing it.
I've been doing a lot of fly fishing too, mainly poppers, I had to make 6 or 7 more poppers the other day.

Ive been fishing the mouths of feeder creeks fan casting a trap for schooling fish and Throwing a chatterbait in willow weeds. Bigger bites coming on a football jig on a channel swing flat.

I’ve been burning the banks with buzz bait and chatter bait with the occasional flip with a Texas rig. Most of my fish have been caught within 1 to 1-1/2 feet from the bank in less than 2 feet of water. Caught a few in some lay downs out away from the bank but still close to the surface of the water.

I normally fish pretty much the same repertoire. Buzzbait, man's one-, double Willow spinnerbait and some sort of jig. I have not been able to get out fishing for about 3 months. Hopefully soon. I noticed the HydroWave on your trolling motor. Would you consider doing a video on the use of a HydroWave when, what type of water, what times of year, for what type of fish, and which Sonic patterns to use when?

Once again thank you for sharing your tips with us for the late summer fall fishing. I am still living through your videos until I am able to get back on the water and in my boat down here in Land O Lakes Florida because of back surgeries but it’s killing me not to get out there and try all the stuff because I know it’ll work just from past experiences, but I am living through your videos and I really really appreciate you and your techniques and just the way you have so much fun doing what you do that’s what’s the most awesome thing about watching your shows. Thank you your friend Joe Mallozzi

Yes sir I agree with that pattern for sure. Fishing has changed here in Texas and they have moved way up shallow. I been catching them on white choppo. Thanks for video and good luck up north.

Thanks Edwin for sharing your love & knowledge of fishing, I'm not able to fish due to injuries but right now I'd wake a spinnerbait shallow, throw a swim bait for medium depths, lastly, a rattling lipless bait a bit deeper, it's all about tuning into active feeding bass

I agree EE on this time of year fishing up in the water column. I have been hard headed in the past and always wormed around the docks here on Norman. I decided to finally follow one of your tips about jerk bait fishing around floating docks, and wow was I pleasantly surprised. Between the early bite on shallow points with walking bait and popper, then switching to the jerk bait as the sun got up; I had caught 10 bass in about 1 1/2 hours with 4 being good keepers. I cannot remember the last time I had a day like that.
    Thanks!

On lake Wedowee Alabama the deeper water shad hasn’t went into the fall pattern yet but the bass are seaming to hold to structure better it seams like this time of the year. When I scan a structure with my active target I am seeing tons of bass holding to the structure and the shad are also holding to it also

I'm in Ontario, I've been using almost exactly what you're throwing the past week or two - When the water is glass I use a toad rather than a full buzzbait - I'll trade the crank bait for a swim jig. Otherwise, wind is up a bit and I'm throwing exactly what youve suggested. It's the triple threat.

I think people think all the bass go into creeks in the fall and thats just not true. Bass on the lower end of the lake dont even know those creeks on the upper end even exist. Find the bait in the area you want to fish and fish your strengths. Always informative sir, thanks for the channel.

Edwin, watching your video a little late because I have been watching the MLF tour on live stream from beginning to end. I don't believe I have missed a project e video and look forward to see what I can learn from you. Because my boat is still not going I believe I can use this information and fish from shore. Should do good since the bass are up shallower as you have mentioned. 🎣🐟

Went out sat to my local resavoir water was 70. Used all my normal patterns with no bites at all. Decided to try deep and sure enough they were stacked in 35 to 45 ft. Got em drop shotting I’ve never fished in more than 20 ft of water ever. So needless to say I was so stoked to catch em deep. All spotted bass.

Great video. I really enjoyed it. Do you ever fish with the Johnson gold spoon with a trailer on it. I have caught tons of quality fish on it until I got sick and could not fish for five years. Just now getting back to being able to fish again. I like to take a white twin tail grub, pinch off almost all the body, leaving just enough to get the hook on the spoon into. It gives that spoon beautiful action. I through it deep into the grass or lily pads and slowly pull it out on the top of the water. I catch fish on it when I can not get them to hit anything else. Been using them for over 60 years now. My friend now uses them. It is great for pulling over any structure.
