@@maney594 fake, the reason is battlefield, all their vehicles ar insane fast shooting, speed, turret rotation etc.

The cosmetics have chilled out quite a bit since launch: I see a lot of players use "tacticool" (yet still somewhat historically accurate) gear now.
Tbh some of the gear like Wanderer (brown jacket with Bren Gun pouches) feels like British Commandos than the Resistance (gray jacket).

@@moskovthefirst2227 Technically Strumtiger is a infantry support assault gun vehicle. But there are reports about a Strumtiger knocking out a bunch of Sherman tanks with a single shell in the western front. So it is doable but not a practical way.

there was only about 9 so i think the chances of that were pretty slim, and if it's not loaded the most it would do is damage the breech and barrel

@@itsbetty8737 by buildings, they meant fortresses and bunkers with reinforced concrete- buildings that were normally bomb and tank proof
@@crispyjello7564 nothing is proofed against anything. Resistant? Yes, but even then there were specialized shells and vehicles that would blow them up regardless, since its static artillery would chip at it all day until its rubble.

in my opinion a game that did not deserve so much hate and despised both the community and its developers
I did find myself on it a lot more than Battlefield 1. It was really great, shame it had a rough launch
I honestly think tanks ruined this game. Obviously they should be apart of it but the way they were implemented ruined the game. In battlefield 1, they served as a way to break through the lines and take the bulk of the fire. In 5, they have extremely fast turrets and just annihilate infantry.
It did deserve it. You got rose tinted glasses on because you watched a YT video about an "older" game that you have some fond memories off.
The cosmetics were ridiculous, the content drops were small and far inbetween, they put in one of the worst spotting mechanics in this game to date, they had weapons in the game with such a short TTK that you basically can only win if you had the same weapon equipped as the other dude (Type 2A), the visibility was trash.
This game did have potential but Dice fucked it up by reworking things that didn't need a rework and by once again not listening to the community and worst of all not properly using the timline the game was set in by only shiting out one decent campaign (Pacific) and then fucking off to deliver the shitfest called BF 2042. "Game as a life service" my ass, shit tier excuse to abandon your game after dropping 2-4 content updates.
I agree and it can be a fun game, though I understand some of the hate toward its design (including cyborg women as infantry?) - but that said, the trailer was to blame for a lot of the image.

@@949surferdude you get it with points form you and your squad mates, once you reach a certain points you can call in for a v1 rocket strike, special tanks (like this one),artillery, package drops and smoke barrage. the v1 rocket is the most expensive but it can happen if you and your squad play good also the Americans have this shermans that shoot rockets its cool, the British have this tank destroyer and the Japanese have this tank that shoots rockets as well.

Did the same thing on this map with the sturm at the same place, i think i killed 20 tanks in that match. That is why I alway go squad lead to get my own sturm.
I also found it funny that a tank can somehow bounch the shell and and then not die when the round detonates right next to the tracks.
Pretty much the only way to kill it with a vehicle safely is to shoot at it with the at halftrack from half way across the map.

I was in a tank and tried to take on a sturmtiger to see how much damage it does to me and it didn't end well
For me, it did end well because the driver was suck lol
Do remember one thing, this gun has the same caliber has battleships warspite, Bismarck, Roma, nagato and battlecruiser hood..... This is basically a battleship size rocket you're sending

On the giant field map (I forget the name lol) I was lobbing these over a hill, across to the other side of the map just for fun and got a hitmarker. I shot 3 more and got 2 kills on a transport and a tank

I hate how unrealistic they made this beast. Normally it would pull a trailer with the shells on it and lift it inside the tank with the crane. Takes ages to reload. Naw let's give it a 10 second reload.

Nah, the thing was meant to delete bunkers from existence first and foremost.
The upside of that is that tanks are much more fragile than a big ass bunker
...3 second reload on a 30cm 200kg projectile... yeah, fuck this game.

This game should've seriously been a WW2 clone of BF1-with the same dedication and passion for historical accuracy as the former had-in which case this could've been one of the greatest FPS's ever made in history and hands down the best war game in general (that spot goes to BF1)..
BF1 had absolutely no dedication to historical accuracy. however, BF1 had great dedication to immersion. you felt like you were in ww1, even though you were running around with SMGs and semi automatic rifles
@@danielsteger8456 That's one of the most patently false statements I've ever read lol; from literally recreating (in some cases using photogrammetry at the actual historical sites where battles were fought-like the Argonne Forest) battles to the vehicles to the single player War Stories that actually sought to teach players about history; virtually the only thing's that aren't "historically accurate" are the prototype firearms and some of the character models-but those were actual firearms that were R&D'd regardless if it's the SMG08 of which only a single model was produced or the Hellriegel (which had quite a few prototypes) 🤷 And to actually say they had no *dedication* for the history is absolutely asinine

1.Weapons: 75% of guns availible in BF1 never saw combat in ww1. most of them had very few examples, if they existed during the ww1 period at all.
2. Vehicles: tanks were very slow and planes couldnt repair themselves mid air. "tank hunter attack plane" never existed during ww1. they also dont have infinite bombs and ammo. they also didnt have bombsights that magically showed you where the bombs would land.
3. Behemoths: airships were extremely fragile and even a few bullets would send it into a flaming fury of hydrogen. armored trains can be easily immobilized by cutting the tracks, forcing the crew to do a lengthy process to start moving again. ironclads dont have magical indicators as to where the shells would land. fire rate is too high too.
4. AA guns: aa guns shoot bullets that magically know when they are close to a plane and blow up. proximity fuzes for anti air guns were only developed by the later stages of ww2.
5. Combat: a typical round of BF1 conquest consists of people running around in fully automatic weapons, maybe sometimes straight-pull rifles, while in ww1 the soldiers were rarely ever equipped with bolt-action rifles and crew-operated maxim guns that were stationary and could not be moved easily. there is no trench warfare in BF1. there is no constant heavy artillery barrage in BF1. there is no "no man's land" in BF1. BF1 is not representative of ww1 AT ALL.
380 mm shouldn't reload in a few seconds, even a full minute would be too short.

@@EK-CLIPS not with the default ammo but with the different ammo, apcr or what ever it is. You know the one that looks like a dart. It does a lot of damage I would say like 70% of a Sherman's total health. They don't have to be on low health to one shot them.
a 380mm cannon, that could only fire at most, 12 shells daily, is popping tanks in a campaign it never fought in. Thank god i didnt buy anything but BF1...
