Put painters tape around the hob and then use a chisel to get it loose, now you can use a bit more force because to tape will protect the countertop a bit
Hello I would really appreciate it if you could help me with this problem I have. , I have a KitchenAid cooktop model KICU568SBL1. It comes with two identical positions on the left side, two positions in the center and two positions on the right side. This Cooktop comes with 3 main control boards, one control board for the two positions on the left side, a central control board for the central position (2 induction positions) and the other control board for the two positions on the right side. It gave me an error code F0 in the positions on the right side. When I checked carefully, that control board had problems and had to be repaired or replaced. I was fortunate enough to get the same control board for that position since it was not available. It was changed correctly. The error code F0 no longer appeared, but I am left with a problem that I do not know how to solve. The problem is that the two positions are reversed, when I turn on the one below on the right side, the one on the top turns on, when it gets too hot I get the H because the sensor is in the correct position and it cancels (flashing 2 and the letter c), this means that there is too much heat. Everything inside is correct (wiring), everything is in its position. I imagine that a reset needs to be done on the control display, does anyone know how I can solve this problem? Disconnecting it from the power is not enough. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me what to do. Has this ever happened to you? . In short, what happened is that the selector changed position and I don't understand why since everything is connected correctly and has been rechecked a couple of times.
@@SimonFabcicok I did change the ceramic Hob. As all the screws were on the sides, i didnt flip the Hob. I just opened it and changed the glass. It was quite a straight forward task. Your video gave me confidence for sure. BTW instead of a chistle I used a thin cooking spoon.
Thank you very much ! Just now I did this mess🤔
My heart stopped for a second at 2:56

This video is gold thank you werry much!
Any advice for if the previous home owner has used a mass of glue to seal the glass hob top to the counter?

@@Manoharan Happy that I helped ;)
Helpful but concerned to see wires over the hotplates! Unless this is induction and somehow that's ok?
That's how manufacturer think is ok 🙂
Thank you. Please is this also the same for Zenussi cooking hub? Mine just broke.
