This Santa wall hanging is really pretty! The white does look so much better! It lets your stars pop! It was a lot more fun watching you take the blocks apart than watching me do it! Thanks, Karen!
My favorite is the 4-star wall hanging. Think I might make 3 of the star blocks and combine for a table runner. I have some beautiful Christmas cardinal panels and now I know how to best utilize them.
Thanks for the inspiration! I love how you made the smaller Santa squares into big stars. I really liked the black print as background, paired with bright red star legs. I have a rather drab angel panel that was free. I think making the squares into bright stars might just be the answer. It has a larger angel that could go in the center, and the STAR blocks using the smaller angels could be used as corner accents. Build it like a medallion quilt. If I chose colors well and make some cute borders, I bet someone will like it. Happy Holidays and thanks.
@@OrlaQuirk really you liked the black print? it just looked so awful in my eyes at the start I thought it would of been perfect but no I would of preferred a brighter colour though
Yes, I thought the black print was good for the background, especially if the corner squares were also black print. But I agree with you about the black legs of the star; that didn't appeal to me. But the white also worked very well! How are you going to use the large center Santa?
@ thinking to make a bed quilt but use it as part of the focus as in a 3 yard quilt so just use large prints of Christmas fabrics but all the same size as the large Santa
I always wondered how you determine the size of the flying geese to a specific size block. I am not great at math. Can you help Karen ? Also, I still love this song you play. You are a master at some of these things. I applaud you. Merry Christmas !!!
@@jenihansen7201 what ever the size of the square just make it bigger so for eg if the square is 9 inch sq make the 1/2 sq triangle 5 inch’s then trim to 4.5 each sq for the triangle should be 5inchs sq
I Love what you did with this panel! What do you plan to do with the center larger square of the panel? I really prefer the one that you cut up. It is so intriguing.
