6:19 Something about the way Kehlani pronounced "posthumously" was 1)adorable 2) surprisingly profound. I think the root word refers to "humus" as in earth, therefore burial. But when they said is it almost sounds like "post-human" -- like being in a divine energy state, beyond human, which I far prefer.

Alright guys i can't put into words how much Kehlani means to me. Her spirit truly touches my soul and I'm so blessed that i even got to tell her how she makes me feel. She is so connected to nature that it really helps replenish her it's so heartwarming to see. Also I've been very spiritual myself and I feel her spirit with me I've never seen her this healthy every step she takes leads to more comfort in my opinion. Critics can say whatever they want the REAL fans truly want her to feel centered and I believe we're seeing it. When she talked about Altar it hit me because the way i see it is the afterlife is a form of peace and beauty and it's only the start of a new chapter. Kehlani will forever be here no matter there won't ever be another pure vibrant spirit like hers!
I'm late to this but I listened to all of her blue water road songs and I feel different. It's like getting an insight of what's in her mind, down to every little aspect, and that the way she's in love with everything around her. She's definitely the epitome of love.

I believe Kehlani’s orisha is Oshun. Because I noticed that she gave the river an offering of oranges and I looked up Oshun’s offerings and oranges was one of them. Not only that, but Kehlani wears the color yellow every now and then right along with a honeycomb chain around her neck. Honey is also another one of Oshun’s offerings as well 💛🌻🍯.

when they said placing themselves in nature during a world tour...it's so powerful to be in nature and experience all the vastness plus adding music...a vibe and a religious experience.
This is how I learned that Alter is about connecting to those who have passed on, and not about sex. I just thought it was about treating your partner right, and treating your bed like an alter. And also about like nurturing your relationship and creating intimacy between yourself and a partner in a way that becomes spiritual.
Also I don’t have the words to explain it but I fully relate to everything she’s talking about with spirituality, and connecting to nature and finding peace as a constant undercurrent rather than never having pain etc etc, and yeah. I’m thankful for her sharing her spirituality with us, it’s so beautiful 💖💖

Alter may be misunderstood by some but for those of us that do understand, that have gone through this change, we are actually listening and not just hearing the words..it’s meaning is so deep. Now I know why I love Kehlani, she is such great energy hard to describe how amazing woman she is. Can't get enough hearing her singing and now speaking as open I really relate and I love deep convo so these episodes are so precious.
I was supposed to see her in concert where I live in Paris in 2016 but unfortunately she had to cancel due to a surgery I hope one day I will have the chance to see her. 💙
Idk about y’all but Altar was clearly about losing loved ones to me… I also experienced a lot of tragic loss the past 2 years so maybe that helped the perspective. But damn it just definitely sounded like it was about acceptance and grief to me from the jump.
I host retreats and facilitate holotropic breathwork and have been connecting to spirit for years and Altar echoed my thoughts I tell you myself and my grieving friends: “all of the atoms that have ever exist, still do. They are still here with us.” We all have the power to tap in. Highly recommend reading The Holotropic Universe🤍

I too have been on my spiritual journey and it changes you when you take the time to introspect. The growth has been palpable over these last few years and Blue Water Road shows that. It's been amazing coming along this journey with you. You're attracting more people in alignment with you now.

Altar makes me cry everytime. To believe our loved ones communicate from the beyond makes me feel unafraid of death and loss. I want to believe there is something further and this isn't the end. How does one get involved with a completely new religion?
I’ve had a few nde and the last one I remember. It’s not the end when you die. I know that for a fact. And you don’t have to be scared of death. And we are all energy. And any spirit can communicate form the other side.
