Henry Cavill made Superman THE Superman again, after Christopher Reeves who was a legend too... Henry put his heart into this role so deep that no one will forget it .... ever. And the music? awesome ... right spot on!
I compiled a list of calm songs from Man of Steel for that reason. I've listened to a lot of ambient songs / soundtracks / playlists, but this one is really *the best* for relaxing, falling asleep or being high (!) in my book. Or all of those activities altogether. *Though when high you can listen to all of them in the album (and the extended album), good shit.

It's amazing how the right composer is capable of going beyond "beautiful". Objectively Chopin, Verdi, Williams or Shore (my favorite composers) and many others, make beautiful pieces but what Hans does is at another level. Man of steel makes you want to fly, to do good for the world. When you listen to Interstellar, you realize how little you are, you even begin to have an understanding of your place in the universe. The dark knight awakens your sense of justice and reinforce your morality. With Aurora you enter a lethargic state of mind. Gladiator makes you appreciate how beautiful life is when you fight for your loved ones. I could go on and on but my point is that Hans Zimmer is more than a composer, he's a man capable of truly reaching your soul through music, a true living legend.

If this same piece had been composed by someone else, and not associated with the movie, it would be a forgetable piece. We only think it is beautiful because we associate it with superman and flying and saving the world.
It's very rare that a movie's soundtrack touches my heart and feelings as deep as this one does. This and interstellar are the two soundtracks that truly touch my soul beyond just the movies. Hans Zimmer is truly one of the greatest composers of all time. Without him my childhood and adult life would be much more difficult and i wouldnt have a love for superman as much as i do now without his sound track on the film. Same with interstellar.

The galactic federation observe us. The few won’t tell us as we are their cash cow in a slave system worst kind of jail you can’t even see the bars don’t know your stuck in it, it requires all humanity to play the correct board game with common goal being the asset gain. We can’t see it for ourselves and until then 57 species will be like when will these crackers humans get on to it and behave accordingly to be a player in galactic federation….
