I have the Guzzi but not from the mentioned 2016 model year but the 2014 - although they have the same basic engine design. I wonder if the issues are the same.
Ok I'm sure with the amount of GS's sold In 2013 there were bound to be reported problems. Mine has 60000 miles without any issues maybe lack of maintenance by some could play a part. But to be fair to BMW they are usually pretty good at fessing up and paying for recall works, Spline on the final drive, front forks and drain hole put into the shaft drive casing all done no matter how old the bike is and how many owners. You don't get that from KTM.
I've been working for bmw motorrad for the past 5 years, and i've seen GSs like these with 80+k miles on them and still yet to see any of the issues he's talking about. But again, AI voice over, GS on the thumbnail of a video captioned like this.. to me it sounds like it's there just to get the clicks "clickbait". So keep taking care of that beauty and ride safe. One more thing, depending on how you ride, the clutch could go on high mileage bikes and it could be a costly repair cause the bike needs to be split in half. However this is regular maintenance not an issue cause the clutch is consumable. And depending on how you use it could last you 100K miles or more. If your clutch wears out "prematurely" it's because you don't know how to use it, or you're slipping it too much. This is a dry clutch and you can't slip it too much. Improve your clutch control and you won't have these problems
With respect all that demonstrates once more - those faults should be designed out? that is basic design engineering. I have a friend with your famous GS and it's always breaking down with one thing or another. His previous bmw still had the flat cylinders, direct drive what a monster - and that went wrong! it was about 40years out of date. way too heavy for any real performance, horrible thing. Over complex wiring make it impossible to even think of repairing. I have had Suzuki 1000 models for over ten years and truthfully I have never even repaired an led. I do my own Castol Power 1 oil/filter every 2k and she purs like new. Fabulous bike my GSX-S1000, quicker, better top speed and guess what? I can negotiate the tightest twists on the steepest hills in the north yorks moors. My mate on his bw well? There is a review on here...the latest monstrosity from bmw the main dealer life blood cost £23k (When i bought my bike bmw was 8k MORE for far less!) and the guy is snagging about ten faults on the bike and he has only just bought it. It was on youtube. Over engineered, Overrated, Over expensive and constantly copying other makes anyway. Over a grand to service it???? Insanity Truly is. Your' welcome you must be very well off and very good luck to you, you pays your money and you takes your choice and i agree with that. Key of all to me is Money and Value, running cost mpg, insurance, depreciation, repairs and maintenance costs, overall economy etc....Don't forget you get as wet as the rest of us when it rains! The Jap Bikes cannot be beaten overall, you just have to get over it? bmw is just the big ego trip and not much else, all opinions.
140 K only one drive shaft issue otherwise the usual maintenance is done in my garage somebody has had problems with the most bulletproof engine is really interesting ?
BMW first started making motorcycles in 1923. It didn't start making cars until around 1928 ! So if you want to buy a car from a motorcycle manufacturer, ...go for it ! At times it's better to keep ones mouth shut and be thought of as an idiot, than to open it and remove all doubt !
Powerful is not a word I would associate with any HD.
Just as with cars, American, German, Italian brands make up this list. No Japanese brands mentioned, not really surprised.!
Never had a problem with my Victory's.

@@maakatipa4613 , at times it is even better to inform without unnecessary insult. Unnecessary insults conceptually contradict your own advice....lol
