- Hi :) I'm Latte! I finally made an English ASMR video! Even though It's quite a short video. I'm a little bit nervous because I Kept saying Um...um.. I should think about next words something like that. But anyway I tried and still keep learning English so maybe I will make better videos in the future! Hope you like it! Chris Carter wen I moved to the USA I didn't speak English but all I heard was um um um from English speakers so it's common for a native English to say um a lot I even say um ahahahah .

Every langauge I know especially a lot about has an "um" sound.

Isn't it amazing how over a year ago little Latte sat down to her hundred or so subscribers and told them about how much she love's Maria from Gentle Whispering. Now look over 400,000 subscribers later and Maria regularly commenting on Lattes videos about how much she loves her. It makes me so proud of how far she's come ❤
Not to disagree with you -- your message was lovely! -- but just to say that actually her channel had already gained thousands of subscribers back when this was made. People could tell she was awesome from the very beginning, and her channel has grown quite quickly from the start. Cheers! (^_^)

So i came back in 2022… and all i can say is WOW! Your videos have come so far and your English has become absolutely amazing! (Also still great in this video) i cant see how far this channel goes and how much it grows!
Halfway through 2024 and I swear she lives in the US. She’s stopped using little oddly placed phrases like the word “some” where most wouldn’t and she speaks English with an Asian American accent.
Some video suggestions: 1) Teaching English speakers the Korean language (alphabet,simple phrases) . 2) Skin doctor (dermatologist) 3) Caring friend role play with motivational talking. 4) tea time. Your movements are so delicate, perfect for relaxing tea making 5) psychologist doing hypnosis on a patient 6) clothing makeover video for a customer with old- fashioned style. 7) really anything, as long as its more English asmr videos 😊. I am hooked on your channel, Latte! great job 👍

- You have almost a million friends in other countries!
- Your English has improved since this video. It was still good in this one though.
- You Make very high quality videos now, not that this one is bad, but you put so much effort into your new videos it’s crazy.

True! Almost all my favourite ASMRtists have accents and do not speak perfect English (which is totally okay!). I truly believe that most of the communication in ASMR is the *feeling* of caring and sincerity you get from: tone of voice, eye contact, natural facial expression, body language, and even the decorations / style / mood of the background setting, oh and also even some of the props that are used. That's why Latte is so amazing. She could be speaking complete made-up words that nobody on Earth understand, and her caringness and sincerity would still shine through and make us all feel cared for and relaxed and ASMR-y.
Come to think of it, there's a whole category of ASMR where people speak 'unintelligible' or so-called 'inaudible' gibberish, and that's actually a big trigger for some people (I enjoy it, too). Maybe Latte could try that, actually. It would probable raise her confidence when people react positively to it! I think I will make that suggestion on her next video, so she might see it.

I know this comment is very late, but I just want to say that I think it's wonderful that you have achieved full bilingualism. I'm not fluent in any other languages (well, except for computer programming languages, but that's not quite the same, haha), and I'm slowly learning Japanese. I think mostly everyone can learn one language, that's pretty easy. Learning two is pretty difficult (unless you grow up in a bilingual culture or family). But after you have two languages under your belt, I think learning a third language tends to be much easier than learning the second one. I have a friend who spoke 5 different languages and was learning a 6th at the time; he said that after a while, the more languages you know, the easier it is to learn new ones. (I guess there must be a limit eventually, of course, but he was learning the language (Czech) much much faster than I was able to. I still only know a few words.)

I just realized ASMR is an amazing way to practice speaking a different language with no breaks. It’s slow so you don’t have to worry about speaking quickly, you can formulate your thoughts, different languages are extremely relaxing, and over all it seems to be working for Latte so it should work for everyone!
