Funny (and great) that the British royal marines’ band has been a consistent fan of two steps from hell for over a decade. Really nailed this one, wonder if there will ever be a joint performance now that TSFH does concerts themselves
Thanks to this video, I finally understand this song. And now I'm crying - wonderful, beautiful tears. Historically Fairies were a common way to explain disability and even mental illness. So, I join with Thomas to shout joyfully, "Away with your Fairies!" We are no longer afraid. There is enough room and enough compassion and enough joy in this world to celebrate and lift everyone.
It is so nice to see and hear year after year a orchestra or band like this playing modern music live from Two Steps from Hell! Not the most simple music to perform! So the way they do this is really stunning! 🥰🥰
One of the most joyful performances I have ever heard! Just fantastic! It was also wonderful they could have the special needs guys and gals participating in this wonderful event!
I have now been able to experience Two Steps From Hell live in concert twice. 😍 It's always great to see how "The Bands of HM Royal Marines" reinterpret songs ... this version with people with disabilities moves me to tears! Great cinema! Goosebumps! 🤝🙏 A visit to the Royal Albert Hall is definitely still on my "to do" list! 👍 Greetings from the "Wild South" in Germany
That was bloody wonderful!! I’m here crying like a baby, at the sheer joy of the music and the enthusiasm of the participants . Thanks to all the those wonderful individuals, the as ever lovely RMB, and the noisy enthusiastic audience. Thank you and bless every one of you❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
First of all: this is one of my personal favorite TSFH pieces, and I am convinced that if you distilled joy down to its purest form, this is what it would sound like. Second: my youngest brother is disabled (Downs syndrome), and when I saw the first disabled performer at 0:38 I genuinely had to pause the video for a moment to cry because I was overcome with emotion - and again when the group came out at 3:02 to join in the dance, and especially the spin at 3:31! It meant so, so much to see disabled performers both recognized and actively included front and center in such a joyous performance!
Everything about this is amazing. Two steps from hell are amazing, the band is amazing, the performance is amazing, the conductor is absolutely BRILLIANT! SO much fun to watch!
I love the Bands of HM Royal Marines (I'd love to see you live) and of course, Two Steps From Hell, joined forces, it's just a complete musical feast! :) Thank you for your music, and above all, thank you for your service... One day I'll be in the crowd, cheering you on... I just know it'll be a complete joy! :) hehehe
This is amazing, I refuse to cry I'm wearing my make up range royal saints kisses. 9.9 performance, event, everything. And the best audience ⭐ wish I was there😭 love love love❤️
Saw Two steps from hell live once and through them I've discovered this beautiful performance! Would love to hear this live as well! It was very moving and makes me happy to be alive just so I can witness such beauty ❤️ Wow, just wow! Also, that conductor is absolutely delightful! 😊
I'm back again to comment on this amazing performance to say I still think this is one of the most joyous performances of the most joyous piece of music ever. There's so much to enjoy and celebrate in this performance and video.
And with that, Lt. Col Jase "Mad Major" Burcham's and Bandmaster WO1 Ivan Hutchinson's last MFM has ended. Thank you gentlemen for bringing an interesting spirit to the Royal Marines Band Service! Enjoy your retirements!
I love this song!! I use it as a dungeon master in my role games because it's so fucking amazing!! But the most astonishing thing is that the crowd is just... sitting down!!!! I would be headbanging as fuck!

That would be the best thing ever. Given that TSFH are touring more, getting the bands in on this would be incredible

Whenever I feel sad, I'm going to come right back here and watch this tonic of a performance. Just marvellous.
I don't cry, so why am I crying? This is too bloody wholesome.

Im in fucking tears, great show of humanity
Love this conductor. He is so loose and free
He’s loads of fun, before he was promoted to Lt. Colonel he was known as the “Mad Major”
I can just imagine him having that nickname. The first time I watched him was the concert with Celebration time Come on. What a joy he is to watch.
He's so charming as well! Does anyone know his name? Lol
