Im assuming this rule was only active prior to the players being in their gaming houses instead of the mpl arena so the connection problems there ain't mpl's fault. But just cause Gaming Houses get limited pause times cause of shitty wifi i would think the same rule would apply to mpl arenas but hey, its their shit, they gotta fix it to keep the show going, or like in the past just blame GHs for shitty wifi lol
I'm not one of those who always brag about Philippines, but today I'm proud that our region is number 1 when it comes to pausing. This is just minimal.

that was online MPL due to Covid situation.. Evos internet connection maybe broke.. not similar with AE Pai case , very different

and then onic in S9 pausing for more than 2 times
Nvm i didnt read that it was online tour but still onic paused only for strategy to make the enemy frustrated and it doesnt make sense to pause more than 2-4 times (Personal thoughts if you dont agree it's fine)
In the philippines, you can pause 5 times per minute

because if the tourney is online, the internet connection's responsible belonging the team it own. If the tourney offline, then the responsible is belonging to the moontoon itself

no bcs there’s a different set of rules. this happen way back at s6 when covid was high so the match was held online. they can only pause 5 mins max on online match bcs it’s the team’s fault but phove is mpl’s fault since they’re the one providing the wifi and everything. evos alr used their 5 mins pause haha
Tbf not playing is better than playing with lag. If they played with lag, people will see how shitty their gameplay is because of lag. And since people as a mass is generally stupid, they'll keep flaming the players for their poor performance.

why not pause even though afk or lag? because evos has been paused many times and the pause quota is finished, it can't request anymore, because that's also why evos plays on gh so it's a matter of internet the problem of gh is not a problem of the mpl team!.
