Bought this exact car late 2022, mines a 2023. Literally exactly the same down the to the trim. Exception being I have the executive package and parking package. It’s incredibly nice and fast. Though, long drives are punishing as the ride can be rough.
It looks like BMW just calls it the M. On BMW's website it doesn't say Competition anywhere. Maybe an M Comp will come later with 500+ HP. But this seems to have the standard tuning for the S58 engine

I’ve pretty much made my mind on the M Competition but waiting to see if there are any design changes coming for 2025.

Competition is a $7000 package added to the M Model. It gives extra hp and drops the 0-60 from 3.7 to 3.2.
Seems that BMW doesn't want to have a crazy and harsh exhaust sound. But the sound of shifting gears is very fantastic.
My boss just bought this exact car. It's ugly as sin but it's still fun
lol its nice to drive. A bit odd looking, but still cool
