The acceleration from 4th gear onward would be slightly faster if you manualy shift at 5500-6000 rpm. The sport mode revs the engine to 6500 rpm which is pointless since peak HP is at 5500 rpm. After 6000 rpm the engine is clearly loosing power.

When my corsa says 145 it means mph😹 I wonder how the electric one will stack up, it's 0-60 is no good n I bet it tops out at 110mph, Pointless! Eco mentalist have literally castrated cars. I'm getting a c8 corvette, fux peugoueotbagette! I'd maybe consider electric if it did what tesla's do 0-60. But I live in Lincolnshire, a large portion of my life has been 120+mph down country lanes I need it to do 80-130mph for the majority of the trip then 150 to stop tards overtaking! but I get sick of buying premium fuel tbf n I love throttle response and torque so hit me with horse's⚡🐎🐎🐎⚡or KW's!?🤔 No 3door either, it may aswell be a another suv with those arch gaps. I'm sick of lowering cars because the arches aren't long enough! It doesn't need to be low just no arch gaps ther gross!!
Such a nice car, and it also has a really good engine. I think i prefer the 208, but the Corsa is also a very nice option. Good video!
Peugeot 208 steering wheel covers the dashboard, the corsa is better.

@@aehntu If your steering wheel covers the instruments you are too stupid (or ignorant?) to adjust it the right way. The instruments are over (!) the wheel, not behind them.
Adjust your seat and steering column the right way and you got no problem at all.
(I tried it out in several new Peugeots, works perfectly)

I have a normal dashboard on my micra 4 and the dials are indicating a speed 8km/h upper than the actual speed of the vehicule, it's really anoying to constantly make the maths to keep a proper speed.

Goran Tesanovic Fiesta ST-Line 125 HP is also a very nice and sporty car and fun to drive! A good option to Ibiza and Corsa if you don’t need automatic gearshift.

I also own this car since January. It is rather quick and fun to drive, and I love the fact that it has so much technology for its price tag. However, coming from an Opel lineage, I think the build quality is not as good. Especially the metal parts are extremely flexible.

Question for all here: I have a 2013 Ford mondeo Station Wagon with 140 PS diesel. I want a smaller, more modern car, Opel corsa size, automatic and between 100 and 156 PS. BUT: I have to drive also through europe, so it has to go fast AND the suspension has to be comfort/standard, so NO sport suspension. Any ideas?

Andreyxiv surprisingly no. It’s comfy but more agile than 208
We have the 2020 corsa edition (100hp) and I believe it has got 16 inch wheels but It can still corner well, just a little bit bumpy in the front and Its suprisingly controllable in high speeds (I could only get it upto 200kmh.) plus it has a really quiet but quick to response and aggresive engine. Also it makes some really good noises from that 1.2 Turbo 3 cylinder.
Dual or single clutch? It seems to change gear slowly

Why it revs up to 6500 rpm when max horsepower is at 5500? I understand at gears 1-3 but at 4th and higher it should rev max to 5500-6000. It clearly dont hav enough juice past 6000 rpm.
When the Max. Is at 5.500 RPM it doesnt mean, that you have significant less power at higher rpms

Der corsa ist mittlerweile kein Kleinwagen mehr....unter 100 PS geht da nix....fahre selber noch den "alten" D Corsa mit nur 101 PS
Sieht ma aus beim neuen Fiesta.
Unter 125 PS brauchst gar nicht gehen.
Mein Vater hat einen ausgeliehen mit 100 PS und mußte schon an leichten Steigungen von 5 auf 4 schalten.

Du kannst den Motor aus dem Corsa D aber nicht direkt mit dem Motor des Corsa F vergleichen.
Dein Corsa D: 130NM bei 4000u/min
Corsa F: 230NM bei 1750u/min
Siehst den Unterschied ? Bei deinem D kommt "untenrum" fast gar nichts, beim F musst du nur das Gaspedal kurz antippen und er "schießt" nach vorne, völlig anderes Fahrgefühl.
