I love the commitment of Indian Railways. They couldn't lay down earthwork embankment for the second line, so they ended up building a low level bridge for the entire section.
Loop lines shd b laid along to segregation of passengers from goods ie those traveling less than 120kmph stn 2stn must b held on loops and passengers nd goods runs every 2 mins as goods trains not stopped enroute once determined timing can run passengers at 120kmph with wap 5 if wap 7 cant or additionally attached to, complete 120kmph avg speed runs, Diversion and loops shd take care nd maintain 2 min runs easily each state shd give addiquate precautions to achieve that pragmatic goal post also automate goods train runs at 120kmph with central control nd driver just for emgencies if it does not work in demarcated 120 km stretches ie 1 hr runs stretches atleast now
Need one more line urgently meanwhile use of wap5 as double engine must b mandated to raise section speed to 120kmph average from ers to kayakulam ie to attain 2kmp min runs min and then raise that to 3km per min runs stn2stn... Clearance for 120kmph or 140kmph must b the need of the hr mandatory required for tracks signals and LPs must b made a profile if they can't take consultant help fm iits etc nd start implementing till done
Finally double track railway line in Kottayam. Ernakulam - Kottayam route was one of the most congested route due to single line and now expecting that congestion to come down
It makes me wonder how railway determine which project should be worked fast and hard and which not And y majority don't work fast yet get opened Nice video though
