Out of curiosity, and not a criticism, but why not engage with shadow step instead? Move umbrous to the chest and use Tibalts for some hecking damage.

How do you make the boss vulnerable for so long? In my build, when the Exploit timer ends, my damage also ends

One of my rings have, Lucky Hit: 35% Chance to make enemies vulnerable for 4 Seconds. You can see it at 03:04

I wouldnt say its newbie-friendly, but its pretty easy to get going if you have the aspects and some items with attack speed and lucky hit chance

Just for the extra knock down and 12% crit from Trap Mastery. Psn trap can be switched to whatever you prefer.
