Dana 44 Rebuild

Rebuilding a rear Dana 44 axle out of an old Scout.

Maybe the title should be, "How to put a diff cover on a Dana 44"?

Idk if you ever noticed but both of your caps before you pulled the carrier out had the 366 facing outward towards the axle. But when you put back together one of the caps faced 366 inside towards the carrier....

Came here for an informative video, and then I watched a guy put in an axle with one hand with little to no care for the inner seal...

Been nice if you taught us how the damn diff comes apart. I'm pretty sure we all know how to reinstall the diff cover 🤔. Thanks for nothing
