Hey Bruce! we have seen the reports, unfortunately we haven’t been able to get out when the bite is on. We are looking forward to getting after the tuna sometime soon.
Hey there, just stumbled across your channel because I'm doing research on fishing at the Island's possibly in the future, wanted to reach out and say I really dig your video, new subscriber here, I fish La Jolla fairly frequently always looking for extra fishing friends to go out with. a tip for your next video, add some background music!
Hi, I am a member of boat club and live in LA countyand have access to boats in San Diego...My question is, when you motor out to Coronado, are you solely using your chartplotter to navigate? I would love to come down and give it a try. If you ever wanna go fishing, let me know and I can reserve a boat. Tight lines!
I have a chart plotter but to get to the islands is pretty simple. Out of SD bay, past the whistler buoy I just head south. It’s almost due south and depending on the day I point my bow at whichever island I want to hit first. 🤙
@@honeyhole Cool. I'm from Wantagh. Spent a lot of time fishing out of Captree and Freeport. Love SD. Fished those Islands a few times on the sport boats. Very different style of fishing. Takes some getting used to. Can you tell me how long your ride is out to the islands on a typical day.
@@stans9293 definitely a different style of fishing.. I grew up working on the headboats out of Captree. It takes anywhere from about 1-1:30 hours to make it to the islands.
Oil, garlic, onion, oregano, red pepper Crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper and capers. Let it simmer for a bit then put the rockfish on top and cover for about 8-10 mins. Don’t flip fish, just let it poach. A penne would have been a better pasta choice 👌
Great all around show. Thanks !!!
😊
Thank you!
