There's an easier way of putting the butterflies on then doing it this way. While the acrylic is still wet add the butterflies on then when the acrylic dries add a clear acrylic over them to seal them in. Easier and faster and you wont have to ruin the end of your dotting tool with nail glue.
You can also use a uv glue that doesn't dry until it's put under a uv light to get the butterflies to stick so you can take as much time as you want putting the butterflies on and if you don't like the design you can take it off and start over without the glue drying. There's many ways of doint things when it comes to nail art though so whatever works for you is the best way :) I personally work slower so I don't use nail glue for art etc.
