0:46 just looks so bad to the audience watching. Makes people think these tables are a joke when balls slide in like that...

Ko playing great. Fedor played well too. Winner breaks can create a wide spread in score and also big come backs

I mean what a dominant performance by Yi really. For a second there he had me think it was going to be 10-0😅. Nice catch up by Fedor great effort and comeback really but Ko was just on a whole other level dominating here

Winner break is dumb. I think it was Ko pin Chung who ran like 6 racks straight and beat Filler (I think). Chung is a great player and probably would have won anyway, but Filler didn't get much of a chance. Nothing against Chung as I'm sure the same thing has happened against him at some point. Winner break is really not fair. Furthermore, the break and 1 ball automatic make should be banned. Seems like everyone is doing is. Either that or only play 10 ball. Every player should have their chance to at least get to the table.

@@JohnBowl14690Winner break is not dumb as both players have the same opportunity in a game... Alternate break encourages players to lose and it won't be a big of a deal as a second chance is guaranteed

@@sirdix1653 - One other thing....in some ways winner break makes sense. I think what the billiards organizers are trying to do is to increase the chances of LUCK to determine the outcome. For example, Fedor Gorst is in my opinion the dominant player in the last 6-8 months. However, let's say they are playing a race to 10 and Fedor is leading 6-4 against FSR. So suddenly, FSR runs 6 racks consecutively and wins without Fedor even getting to the table again, then luck in some sense helped FSR. Of course it took tons of skill for FSR to win, but the fact that he didn't scratch on the break and the there were not too many clusters will also help FSR get enough LUCK to win. In other words, I think the organizers WANT the winning to be more spread out, so they introduce rules that allow luck to be more prevalent.
Next - They will introduce a coin toss that will allow the winner of the toss to break 5 consecutive times in a row. It's fair right? Each player has the chance to be the winner of the coin toss. Ok Ok...I am exaggerating. But you get the point.
A more fair way would be to do a point scoring system with a race to say....250 ball scoring, just like APA and use all 15 balls, rather than just 9. That would be a greater test of pure skill and reduce the chances of luck. However, I don't see that ever happening. The fact that 9 ball is more exciting and there is much chances of luck, I don't think it would be good for the game. If anything, I think 10 ball will become the game.
