Love how you demonstrate the versatility of this guitar. Was wondering if it is possible to get a sweet clean jazz tone, and sure enough...you demonstrated that quality right off the bat! This guitar will do it all in terms of many genera of music. Love it!! This will be my next guitar! Can’t wait to get me hands on one. Thanks for a great demo with your virtuosic playing!
01/09/2020: Nice review for a very nice UltraTelecaster guitar with contoured heal and belly-cut, and other cool features. However, I think the new Noiseless Pickups are thin and tinny sounding. The Fender S-4 pickups were better. Also, Fender missed one feature that would inticed me to buy this guitar at $1,888.99. They needed to add a sloping contour for the comfort of the right arm area as on Stratocasters. Telecasters are too box-like with sharp body squared-off edges, and not comfortable to play. Change that feature in 2020 and it would be perfect!
You probably have the answer now nut just in case 😉 It provides comfort for chords on first frets, and makes fast soloing easier on the lower part of the neck.
It sounds not bad, but the neck isn't soft enough comparing with a true vintage pickup. So, you didn't lose everything. However, if I were you, I would think more about Japanese FGN Iliad, which offers more for its price comparing with any tele from Fender
This is in the top 10 best colors Fender ever offered. And since when is blue a sissy color? Especially the metallic blue from a Shelby Cobra? I think you might have a wire crossed somewhere… or you’re just confused. An ebony fretboard would be awesome though, I can agree with that. And some better sounding pickups would be great.

Sometimes, the country of residence might hinder the ability to voice an opinion, but the last time I checked, it doesn't negate the possibility of having an opinion. It is my opinion that you're confused about the word "sissy" or possibly about the color blue.

because the vast majority of listeners play blues, country, and metal, so you'll typically hear blues, country, and possibly some metal if the guitar can handle it.
Why are they deviating into so many different models. Who knows how long they will make them and or discontinue the model and if they will retain their value. Too many choices
@@adamski101 I prefer the aesthetics of vintage style bridges. my american professional tele came with one of those truncated ashtray covers and it's totally comfortable; besides, I've never found exposed saddles to be uncomfortable in any way. And Enhanced-compensated saddles greatly help the intonation "problem." But I'm touched that a stranger took the time to post their sarcastic opinion on my reported CNS activity. In the immortal words of The Dude, "that's just like, your opinion, man..."
Totes my opinion but hey Keef and The Boss were around back in the day and both liked the improvements of the more modern six saddle bridge and attached it to their teles. Just because something is vintage it isn't necessarily better ya know?
@@adamski101 agreed, vintage doesn't necessarily mean better. modern/new doesn't necessarily mean better either. I like vintage style bridges on my teles, there's a certain twang you get with them, but the 6-saddle successor is so much easier to adjust, intonate, and fine tune.
aesthetics wise is a matter of taste. btw they are brass just as the three T vintage style, they are only chromed. also, personally I hate the ashtray bevel of the vintage style getting in the way of your palm. much prefer having free access to che strings.

Swapped the pickguard with a genuine Fender black gloss. Totally a much better look. x10

And be done with it
Will save time in the end.

It is Cobra Blue, not "cobalt blue". It is a car color like most Fender colors have been over the years.
