Dreamer Boy - Simple feat. Savanna Dohler & Jamiah (Official Music Video)

Summer always had simple beginnings. It wasn’t until you were drowning in it that you realized the weight of it all. So this song is the representation of that naive start to the period of time that the album is about. The video we put together for the song also does a good job representing the youthful nature of the song. “I still have some growing up to do” is something that I feel will always ring true no matter where I am in life, but we wanted this video to feel like a classic summer day as a kid - along with some of these ideas of getting along because at the end of the day love is simple. The mirrored verse from Savanna also allow for the perspective to be switched back at myself, and she’s in a sense teaching me the same lesson before the hook hits again. We filmed this video at our house and at locations no less than a mile from our house, it does represent us well and I am super happy with the way it turned out. The euphoric skies in the film are to enforce this idea of dreaming, nostalgia and it honestly just looks how the song feels to me. This is the second video we’ve done for Love, Nostalgia and so far I think we’ve done a good job at capturing what each song feels like internally and having something to show for it externally is a bonus.
