In a better game you'd be allowed to sit in the left-most chair and be rewarded with unique dialogue that was something like: "you're a rebel, I like that and I need someone like you", obviously a better game doesn't mean it has to have better dialogue but you get the idea.
This game looks like they wanted to make "clever satire of modern day socio-political talking points: The Video Game" but the writer wasn't smart/informed enough to do it right. What's more frustrating, though, is that it could be satire of bad political satire, but I can't quite tell. I guess I could play it and figure it out... but I really don't care that much.
Also, Synthesis is the best Mass Effect ending. I cannot be convinced otherwise. Control is a decent alternative, but Destruction is the worst. If you choose Destruction, you're weak and your bloodline is weak.
Honestly, I always find the notion that "gameplay matters than graphics" to be untrue. I've seen some good games that go under the radar because they "look cheap", "look like a N64 game", "look ugly", while also seeing bad games or at least a very disliked game still get people talking about because of the graphics. I should know, I play a lot of Need for Speed games and a lot of NFS fans don't like 2015 but kept coming back to it because of the graphics.
