    Hi Ed
    Can you tell me please what gauge and bar length makita do in the carving bars ??? Did you get 1/4 pitch sprocket and carving chain from makita as well ??? I'm looking for 043 gauge 10 or maybe 12 inch bars.

      Hi, these are the part numbers for the bar, chain and sprocket I bought from Makita UK:
      168407-7 Bar
      194098-8 Chain
      198259-2 Sprocket
