The Airpod Max had a premium feel to it for sure, and the sound quality matched the premium feel. The noise cancellation was unlike any other in it’s class. The absolute best! I hope the next Airpod Max will be sweat resistant. If it has that, it will be the best period. Other things I enjoyed about it was how easy it was to pair with my iPhone, the ear cups, and the ability to change them out. Things I didn’t enjoy, the dumb case lol. I’ve been waiting a long time for the Airpod Max 2. Hopefully it comes out soon! I’ll be one of the first ones to go and buy it for sure 👍🏼
I purchased the Beats Studio Pro for 180$ from Best Buy a couple days ago, I can’t compare them to anything else because I’ve never had a set of headphones before. I’ve always relied on earbuds for private sound, but since I’ve had Studio Pro I find myself wearing them all the time, something I never had a desire to do with my earbuds. I’ve actually gone to sleep with these cans on my head. Back to my earbuds, I love them for exercise, driving and sitting in restaurants but these full size headphones are different, I enjoy wearing them for hours at a time even if I’m not listening to anything. I hear people work out with these but I have no interest in sweating with my headphones, my earbuds which are waterproof and sweat proof or at least highly resistant are much better suited for that
literally everything you just said is exactly what happened to me too lol. i also switched from earbuds and bought my first over ear headphones which is the beats studio pro. is my second beats product owned first it was the power beats pro. but before the beats studio pro i had the bose ultra earbuds. saw the beats studio pro on sale for 180 so i said screw it im goin for it and when i tried it, it was actually pretty good!! their on sale right now too for the exact price i got it for before. get it while its hot.
I got the beats today and found that after a couple of hours they hurt around my ears. I have a large head and the clamping force is too much on my head. I love the sound but think I will be returning to Apple. The APM have larger ear cups and my ears fit completely inside them. No so with the Beats where the top of my ears touch the cousins. APM for me.
The AirPods Max is definitely not designed for people with smaller heads. The pressure on your head can be incredibly uncomfortable. I tried using it at the gym, and it almost fell off while I was on the treadmill due to the pressure. I ended up getting a very bad headache afterwards. The noise cancellation feature is cool, but it doesn't seem to work well for me for some reason. Overall, I feel like Beats headphones were more comfortable for me, especially because I have a petite body and a small head. In terms of sound quality, I think the AirPods Max performed better than the Beats Pro. However, the price of the AirPods Max is quite ridiculous, around $500 for a pair of headphones. This is just not acceptable, considering the design was only okay and nothing really stood out as exceptional.
Due to the price points I plan on having both at some point including a Sony pair. Funnily enough I’ll use the air max pros in the studio/home and the beats anywhere else their less likely to be stolen since they look like any pair of beats and wouldn’t be such a loss as accidentally breaking or getting them stolen as the maxes. I’m gonna get black beats, the white/silver maxes to match my phone and idk what colors Sonys they have I’ll see :) thanks for the video man
I think the AirPods Max design was just over thought and overpriced. I like the square look but hate the head hammock, too heavy, stupid bra case,no power button or water resistance I’d go beats as the lesser of two evils
