I made my own in1988. Worked great to stop steer axle from running over my chest when I forgot to caulk drive axle not once but twice. I will never get rid of that tote. It actually has hole worn in bottom from sliding in and out of service truck.
@@twcmechanical Actually it was a tribute to those guys of the Greatest Generation WW2 vets and depression era guys. Here in Norther Calif. in the logging area, the guys would make their own tool boxes out of plate and angle iron. They used transmission ball bearings for wheels. Heavy suckers, had vises, regular work benches. So if you worked around those guys , you had to make your own tote. If you are interested in seeing my tote do my service truck tour. To bad they won't fit in a tool box for us non service truck guys. The weird shape seems like it would eat up some storage space. Kudos on them for trying to recreate the rectangle though. And you weren't lying about them being expensive AF. Hard pass on this one.
