I've been clean 5yrs now...IV fentanyl, heroin, coke and whatever else. This was me... on the streets and in and out of jails and rehabs. Dirty with abscesses and MRSA... lost my kids.. and everything I owned multiple times. It took me quite a few tries but finally got 5yrs together somehow.

You know...as a person who never did any sort of hard drugs, when you first start watching, you start off laughing at them...but....as you continue watching - you end up crying for these lost souls. I pray for all of them. Keep up the episodes...I guarantee you will keep some people from ever touching drugs in the first place with videos like these.

I feel bad seeing people down like this, I was a heroin abuser from age 15 to 20years old and that was the lowest point in my life, I overdosed on heroin/fentanyl so many times and Luckily I was able to get help from the local police department and sobered up I have to get Sublocade shot every month so I don’t go into withdrawals.I am almost 3 full years clean now and I feel grateful to everyone who helped me

For me personally I never had issues with alcohol, but I know it does pretty much the same thing….it makes you forget all your pains and sorrows and all your problems for a couple of hours while doing a lot of damage to your body
2024 Update: I am completely clean from everything for the past 1 year, and I feel great, I always rewatch these to remind myself where I was at one point
I agree this is a good way to expose some of the negative aspects to drug usage but everyone needs to remember these are people too. Must have been through a lot and it had a hard life. They deserve as much respect as any non drug user.

I feel for addicts because I was one. It got especially bad after my mother died of an OD, I started drinking until I blacked out daily for many years and when I was drunk I'd do all kinds of other drugs just because I hated being alive. Been sober for a little over a year now and the only thing I miss are opiates because they were so awesome but it's not worth fucking your life up with it. Once you start doing anything heavily, you need it to feel normal and it doesn't really provide any benefits besides you not feeling sick.

You should try interviewing people who have overcame this addiction. My husband and I have a truly amazing testimony. 22 years of marriage and 6 kids whom we lost and got back. How the father has blessed us and kept us alive through the addiction is something supernatural almost.

Been there and got out. Used the teachings of Abraham-Hicks. They explain the nature of emotions and thoughts on a whole new level. Not for everyone but definitely works for me. 18 years no major relapse and I'm very healthy and enjoying life.
your episodes are getting really good I like how you've been changing the direction of your show towards rehab I know you're show has always supported the choice towards your interviewers although this time recently its been more emphasis on rehabilitation in a couple episodes your show is very educational for the young viewers and I think you have a great calling to help these people I also think community bridges doesn't really help these addicts it's a vicious loop but if you want to look into other facilities for further research maybe they can find rescorses to accomadate new knowledge also there are certain hallucinogen therapies for addictions as an alternative and further studies have found 60% reduction In relapse but is not a legal practice in most places. I think the cause is more closer to their pain than the symptom when it comes to addiction aka trauma possibly over half of them

I believe him because as difficult as this is to witness , these people have each other, a community which feels supportive and accepts them for who they are. Everybody's broken in some way. Some just a little, some are a total wreck. It's heart wrenching to see these people "living" like this. Seeing this, reinforces my decision to get Clean & sober 37 years ago. Like the old saying says, "To get sober, you gotta wanna".
This is the best way to get people to stay away from drugs. I'd show this video to anyone and ask, "do you want to end up like this poor guy?" (the first one). I'm not trying to talk bad about him because it's not his fault. His mind is completely controlled by a substance that is designed to take over your brain by changing its chemistry, affecting your decision making. Wow … this is fucked up! This is pure exploitation for profit at the expense of those that are under-represented and experiencing an unfortunate health crisis. There are more altruistic ways to help people to access resources that doesn’t involve enabling a messiah complex to the content creator. It’s important to remember that some resources are better than others and even some of them exploit these people as well, which can also exacerbate the problem and keep people who may already be struggling with self esteem issues or shame regarding their situation. Most people are aware of their position/dispositions and may not have access to the CORRECT resources for their situation specifically. Even the correct resources have limits as to how much they are able to distribute at any given moment, so not everyone can be helped at the same time in relation to the scale of such “epidemics.” It’s very likely, and I believe, the content creator may actually want to help these people at some core level, however this is just an addiction of itself to the fame and attention received by abusing such privilege. The reality of this situation is that financial gain and status is the real culprit behind this.

I've never been addicted to hard drugs other than a pretty bad alcohol dependacy off an on but damn. There's some very lost souls in this world.

I feel for addicts because I was one. It got especially bad after my mother died of an OD, I started drinking until I blacked out daily for many years and when I was drunk I'd do all kinds of other drugs just because I hated being alive. Been sober for a little over a year now and the only thing I miss are opiates because they were so awesome but it's not worth fucking your life up with it. Once you start doing anything heavily, you need it to feel normal and it doesn't really provide any benefits besides you not feeling sick.
@Art of War Arm Wrestling I can't smoke the new weed that is legal where I live. Too strong and causes too much anxiety My solution if I want to do any substances is to take a little kratom. Better than drinking or popping pills IMO..

You should try interviewing people who have overcame this addiction. My husband and I have a truly amazing testimony. 22 years of marriage and 6 kids whom we lost and got back. How the father has blessed us and kept us alive through the addiction is something supernatural almost.

Seems more like he was degrading than and kickin' a person when they were down. It's very hard to come out of addiction even if you want to. I saw that Gary was 100 days sober in the comments good job! I pray for all of them that God will comfort them and help their circumstances to be able to get some real help. We can do all things thru Jesus Christ, who strengthens us. I also pray for the guy doing this. That God humbles him so he can see how he is treating these people is wrong.

Been there and got out. Used the teachings of Abraham-Hicks. They explain the nature of emotions and thoughts on a whole new level. Not for everyone but definitely works for me. 18 years no major relapse and I'm very healthy and enjoying life.

your episodes are getting really good I like how you've been changing the direction of your show towards rehab I know you're show has always supported the choice towards your interviewers although this time recently its been more emphasis on rehabilitation in a couple episodes your show is very educational for the young viewers and I think you have a great calling to help these people I also think community bridges doesn't really help these addicts it's a vicious loop but if you want to look into other facilities for further research maybe they can find rescorses to accomadate new knowledge also there are certain hallucinogen therapies for addictions as an alternative and further studies have found 60% reduction In relapse but is not a legal practice in most places. I think the cause is more closer to their pain than the symptom when it comes to addiction aka trauma possibly over half of them

Got 8 years clean off bangin heroin & smokin crack. It's a tough fkn road.. and unfortunately alot of ppl just don't understand. Us addicts don't wake up one day & say "i think I'm gunna ruin my life, lose my family/kids, & slowly kill myself" .. and once you're there, you're there & the damage is done. Not everyone lives to talk about it. There really needs to be less judgement being passed & more help & love being given... ♡♡♡

I believe him because as difficult as this is to witness , these people have each other, a community which feels supportive and accepts them for who they are. It’s a fine line walking on this edge. I’ve been out on Los Angeles streets sober for weeks at a time. I offer my help an understanding to people in this mad situation. Seen most crazy things ever. Talked to people why trying to understand. It’s a trouble I’ve frozen my ass off and slept on train an bus. Slept Anywhere I could. Everybody's broken in some way. Some just a little, some are a total wreck. It's heart wrenching to see these people "living" like this. Seeing this, reinforces my decision to get Clean & sober 37 years ago. Like the old saying says, "To get sober, you gotta wanna".
This is the best way to get people to stay away from drugs. I'd show this video to anyone and ask, "do you want to end up like this poor guy?" (the first one). I'm not trying to talk bad about him because it's not his fault. His mind is completely controlled by a substance that is designed to take over your brain by changing its chemistry, affecting your decision making. He's living in hell, constantly chasing the high and always looking for more tweak or whatever else he does. I pray for his recovery

Wow … this is fucked up! This is pure exploitation for profit at the expense of those that are under-represented and experiencing an unfortunate health crisis. There are more altruistic ways to help people to access resources that doesn’t involve enabling a messiah complex to the content creator. It’s important to remember that some resources are better than others and even some of them exploit these people as well, which can also exacerbate the problem and keep people who may already be struggling with self esteem issues or shame regarding their situation. Most people are aware of their position/dispositions and may not have access to the CORRECT resources for their situation specifically. Even the correct resources have limits as to how much they are able to distribute at any given moment, so not everyone can be helped at the same time in relation to the scale of such “epidemics.” It’s very likely, and I believe, the content creator may actually want to help these people at some core level, however this is just an addiction of itself to the fame and attention received by abusing such privilege. The reality of this situation is that financial gain and status is the real culprit behind this.
This is way more effective than just say no. Ignore it sweep it under the rug.
