didnt know i needed 30 mins of tiny hawk attempting the hardest tricks known to man
tiny hawk is so out of pocket lmfao
@@fauxrowsdower7610 tiny hawk fits in a pocket so it all balances out
You right dude, looks so ridiculous😂
I fkin love Maya lmao she never ceases to amaze wow lol
Good job
good lord
hell yes I am so down for skateboarding with Maya
Can't wait to see you start building a repertoire of tricks
You got this!
“Kicked out because I’m a hooligan”😂 I feel that hahah skate life
Maya's social anxiety n fear of public streaming.. is just me in general anytime i go outside... it's so relatable! Only instead of people look'n at me weird cuz i got a camera man and camera w/me everywhere.. i get to use a wheelchair... I got in the bad habbit of always look'n down all the time when in public, cuz i dont want to acknowledge the people staring at me.
You might enjoy ExtraEmily's IRL streams. They actually do help people to embrace the cringe and give less of a fuck about what other people think (while not being mean or rude and stuff).
Her 24 hour NYC livestream (on ExtraEmily VODS on youtube) was particularly entertaining if you wanna chop away at that beast lol.
@@Siberius- while i have not watched any of her live streams, i do enjoy her and her quirkiness. "hello sire!" "greeting earthlings!"
I actually enjoyed watching FanFan roleplay as ExtraEmily in the GTA RP. lol.
FanFan played XtraEm, so good!
@@Soli2deYT - OH. Okay you cleared something up for me just now. When ExtraEmily/Ellie was hanging out with Jamal and the sim-card wipers, she called one of them sire, and they mentioned if she knew Fanny. Makes sense now.
I started with watching Ellie, and then discovered that, no that's just Emily lol. She's actually out there doing it. I was so impressed with how she was so damn consistent in her roleplay lol.
FanFan is dope.
Tony hawk, more like Tiny hawk 😂
"that looks really hard, I feel like I should just do a kickflip" oh maya 🤣
Her pink safety protection is mad adorable 😂
Nice idea, Maya! An “ollie” is a great first move (kick-flip), since it teaches you to center your weight on the board! Practice by moving your weight back, then forward really quickly! You should be moving but not too quickly. Enjoy! Next, as a teacher I recommend the fourth-grind, or jumping up on a pipe for just the back (not front!).
When she landed primo I thought her ankles were gonna snap
Loving the confidence of trying to learn to kickflip before learning to ollie
this would be a fun streamer challenge. like get a bunch of streamers who don't skate and then have a bet on who can do a kickflip first.
Diegesis watches maya, awesome! BTW i need more emotional movie reactions!! 😅
i need the breaking bad reactions everyday lol@@callehaha_
Id love that! Ricky would have content for days as well lmao
Nice to see you do this sometimes. You have a good heart. Big hug to you❤
Video starts at 26:38.
As a former skateboarder of 10 years, I am emotionally invested in this saga. But Maya, if you're serious about actually landing a kickflip, I implore you to watch a how-to video or two. If you only watch one, Braille has a great series of how-to trick videos.

Not gonna get all backseat-y like chat but I do have some pointers , but your shoes definitely aren't helping. Skating is a lot about feel, and you can't feel a whole lot through one-inch platforms. If you have some non-lifted Chucks, throw those on. Keep your back foot closer to the tail of the deck and really kick that foot down to produce the pop needed. That's what gives you the height on the trick. Your back foot should ideally be half on/half off the deck.
Get in your stance, kick your back foot down while simultaneously flicking your front foot out at a 45 degree angle up the nose of the board, and jump. The rainbow analogy was actually pretty good. Imagine you're drawing a rainbow starting with your front foot, and you'll get there. I have a ton of faith in you.
22:41 That is a ollie if I ever seen one. Quick and short which is good in some situations. Not that I would know much anymore. Been decades since I was on a board. And we had metal wheels.
10:52
The HEB tried to keep her down but they only made her more powerful
I for one support maya in her no ollie kickflip speedrun
this makes me miss being in middle school learning how to skate 🥲 how time flys. good stuff, i would say my one tip is try to pop the board more straight when trying kick flip, you are scooping it with your right foot in a front shuv motion. and also i would try riding the same way you do your tricks because it’s easier to learn how to ride again than learn ollie or kick flip again.
"flys"? lmao
oops lol
GO TINY HAWK GO
This inspired me to wanna get a board and try to learn tricks again.
but not actually do it right?
why are you so boring? @@sodlaflare
Frick yeah!!! 🔥
The Primo is really freaking scary 😂
If you want to learn how to skate, you gotta be able to embrace the pain. You are going to hurt yourself a LOT. If you're scared of that, improvement will be incredibly hard
the super mario sunshine music is therapeutic
Super Mario Sunshine soundtrack goes hard.
The best advice i can give you with trying to ollie is: with your back foot you wanna pop the board up with your big toe only, not your whole foot pushing down, you wanna wiggle your foot back unwill your weight is only on your back tow, and it will give you more directed power into teh pop, and you gotta slam it down hard, and then just practice the other stuff with flattening the board out after the pop.
GOOD LUCK!
Wicked
Imo just cruising around and having fun, getting comfortable on the board is a pretty important and overlooked part of learning to ride. Sure you can skip straight to learning tricks you pop and flick but if you aren't confident on the board, how are you ever going to land back on it comfortably after an Ollie or kick flip attempt? Just messing around and learning to tick tack is probably more helpful at learning how to balance on the board than people think. Awesome to see someone pick up a new challenge and give it a shot though!
the noise she made at 20:30 sounds like Kirby being thrown out of a plane
The path to learning how to kickflip was harder than any game I ever played, without even counting the amount of accidents and injuries involved.
Play to your strength, you are not lifting your back foot, so learn the motion of the left foot for ollies and kflips... Do a ollie with your toe on the heel side of the tail, as soon as you pop just put your pop foot on the ground and lift and guide the board up with your lead foot. Doing this does many things, it teaches you muscle memory of the timing, how to pop and board control with the lead foot. After it gets consistent with pop, control and timing, all that's left to do is lift your back foot and jump with the board forward. Jump small at first to avoid risk.
I don't know who you are but I will watch every skate video you upload
this has become my new favorite series on TH-cam.
Skateboarding arc is sick
19:42 put it on slowest speed. If she somehow landed that, gg done.
Maya skateboards are made to go both directions and there is no wrong way to ride them 😊
In a way yes, but there is a “front” and a “back”. The back is usually slightly steeper and wider
@@itsra1n wrong, the nose is most often wider, and steeper
the tail is usually more narrow
the wheels should be down otherwise it won't roll
she needs to just learn to roll around first, and become comfortable in her stance.
She's Goofy Foot and she's trying to learn KFs riding regular... it's never going to happen.
And she needs to skate WITH someone to show her these things. There's a good chance
she could fall in love with skating if she just skates for fun first.
Pop shove it is the first trick i learned. I won a game of skate with a big spin agianst a really good skater. I he could treyflip and i couldnt kick flip.
You did great! should keep skating, you seem good at analyzing your movements you'd probably like WhyTheTrick's videos
You won't ever get anything other than a pressure flip unless you learn to Ollie first. Maybe link up with braille skateboarding. They're good ppl.
Please learn to ride around first Tiny Hawk, it'll make those bails hurt less!
"I like how they brought two full-grown men out there." One guy got told to tell you to leave, and the other just wanted to see what was happening. That's such a weird feminazi thing to say. Makes sense coming from someone who tried to cover up sexual assault.
Ahh the wait for maya to fall stream
Master the Ollie FIRST!
I might have missed it, but has she kicked Flip yet?
be careful rocking back and forth when you're just standing there! you can shoot out pretty easy when you're rocking your hips like that and it's painful when you're not expecting it
im new here, who was filming and how he never talked? xD
Start in the grass it helps get the alie down.
Keep practicing
My best advice is to learn to actually 'ride' your board first. I don't mean that condescendingly. The biggest mistake beginners make is trying to learn tricks before they've even gotten comfortable rolling around/pushing/kick turning. If I see a skater who is flowing around the concrete but never leaving the ground next to someone doing a stationary ollie or kickflip, the first skater is a much better skater.
That back foot must be heavy because I did not see that backfoot jump up 1mm. She should learn how to jump with the board by learning the ollie first
Why do people actually think they can learn how to kickflip without actually learning how to skate or have any board control?? Like wtf
I skated for like 5 years and never learned to kickfilp. Also, i couldnt do tricks riding regular. If i was cruising, i would ride regular and switch to goofy for tricks
TOS, selfharm XD
Honestly good progress in little time.
Get xqc to teach you to skate!
that bruise looks brutal
It would be fun to be there
Was that a Japanese transporter anklet
Does a cross help quantum skating
So your being a Walmart Hooligan again 🤣🤣
I swear half the people on this site are borderline illiterate.
@@chand911💀
For 1 day of trying I counted 1 Ollie .good job
Maybe I'm imagining this but don't skaters practice sometimes without wheels? Maybe try that.
Remember that one episode of Wine About It called "Are We Pick Me Girls?" in which Maya and QT asked themselves "are we pick me girls?" and both basically said "yeah" and then proceeded to talk about unrelated stuff for an hour
5:53 wtf is she talking about. thats just flat out wrong
why would you put your phone in your back pocket while skating
she is probably left footed
You got this! 🏴☠
I soooooooo appreciate your courage! But you should learn an Ollie first!!! Step by step!
@braille collab
você vai vir pro brasil??? Isso vai ser incrível
you are come to brazil? that's gona be crazy :)
obs:I'm brazilian
Still being in contact with your ex who cheated on u is crazy, but hey thats me 😅
who the hell did she call that said to practice in the water?? obviously not someone who's EVER landed a kickflip lmao!
main thing that helps with learning a kickflip is actually not learning a kickflip.
gaining control of your board first and being confident riding around the park is essential to learning a kickflip. I would also recommend learning some other tricks before a kickflip, such as an ollie and a shuv-it (most people in these comments seem to be echoing this recommendation), as these tricks will teach you how to control your board and give you better balance and stability while on the board.
I think the best thing for a beginner would be to start riding your board while in the city or while out doing chores etc. This would give you more confidence while riding, which I would argue is actually the most important thing to have when learning any trick on a board.
just my thoughts :)
you should just hire a coach if you a actually trying to learn how to skate so you don't build as many bad habits but your just challenging you self for content I respect it.
Hello 👋
i saw the live but i waited till ended to watch it. i hate when i can't fast forward on boring parts. live streams not for me XD
Its easier to learn on dirt imo
Should've watched the braille video on how to Ollie smh
Yeah we need a braile crossover to teach Maya how to skate.
she has to be trolling when she says an ollie looks scary so she'll just do a kickflip, right? A kickflip is an ollie PLUS doing another trick mid ollie. By doing a kickflip, she will also be doing an ollie.
nah.
Background music too loud
You can't skate if your body is so stiff all the time.
your shoes are the biggest issue here. But first you need to learn how to ollie, then you can learn a kickflip properly

i can recommend for you Maya!
That ex was such a dingus. At least half of these falls, your knees are hitting the ground at the same time as your hands. Protective gear is so important.
The safety gears she has is pretty complete but pls wear a butt pad too pleasee :' my anxiety watchin the vid: 📈📈📈
🫣
NPCs simply can't handle someone skateboarding in an open lot. USA is so cringe stg
Calling your ex boyfriend who probably cheated on you is kinda crazy tbh
People move on, plenty of people are emotionally capable of being friends with people they've been intimate with
Posting a comment judging the friendship dynamics of people you don’t know and just casually concluding (with seemingly no knowledge of the hilarious episodes of Wine About It that dealt with this) that he “probably” cheated, thereby revealing your own lack of emotional maturity is pretty crazy tbh.
@@ega7072 you right i don't watch their podcast cuz i'm not a simp at that level. regardless of how they describe it, you still being friends with someone who cheated on you is simp behavior.
Dude they dated in 8th grade it’s not that serious LMAO
@@nba_fan7214 Man. What an absolutely random and worthless thing to say. Your comments just continue to say more about you and your issues than the things you so desperately want to attack about everyone else.
Is she back together with her ex?
First learn the basics like soccer flip ,ride, power slides, shivs tricks and then Ollie
if you cant ride a skateboard you shouldnt be learning flips
also, should learn ollies before flips
platform shoes are also attrocious for skating, you have no feel for anything
and you're not really "learning" how to kickflip if you do it stationary. im not being elitist, but you learning stationary does NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM translate to doing it while moving
keep rocking
It's okay if she falls, she has enough cushion to protect her hips.
btw
