Hey Odell, I used to use 2x4x10 when forming, but get twisted after couple uses. Had to be buying over and over. Now I switched to 2x4x16 compressed wood for concrete forming, they won’t bend, twist and the reusable. They a lot more straight and save money on wood.

Some times the 5X speed is just too much to get anything from other than a headache. Ha! I really wish longer jobs were broken up into a series in order to slow them down a bit or even regular speed for the important parts. One last thing. A lot of us are used to being on a jobsite and know that a little humor keeps the morale up during the hard parts. I know it's good to be professional, but if you and your crew ever goof off you should include it. We were able to do a damn good job and have a little fun at the same time. My 2 cents... I was thinking the same thing. Some trade you tubers give an overall time lapse or just an over view but you never get the same detail experience from a head cam or the voice over explanation. It’s a nice touch. What I also appreciate is that I’ve learned a lot about concrete watching odells videos. And he doesn’t even advertise the videos as how to. Yet you gain the knowledge to be able to be a diy’er. Great stuff. I love watching these videos because they’re very insightful. So much information that you probably wouldn’t be able to get on site, because your on-site and working. With the voice overs your able to grasp what is going on and why it is the way it is. Foreseeable issues as well. Great job all around. I would also recommend you kirk giordandanos plastering channel. Good stuff man. I’m in SoCal. Keep on growling
love the headcam...I think it allows the viewer to see how you work the concrete better than a stationary cam, we don't get that kind of detail. If possible it would be nice to see you use both. At about 9:38 on the video, it looked like you were working the cream to fill in voids and there were some small holes, which you creamed over, so my question is What is the meaning of "stacked up?" How much fiber mesh did you use on that 60 foot walkway? Great video, like the head cam, I got to see the workability of the crete.
If you find yourself holding your head still while using the head cam, you might try other harnesses, there are different types which go on your torso, which snowboarders use. Also they make little drones which you can set to follow you around.

Hi Dave, I enjoy your videos. I am not familiar with Concrete, so I am learning something new every time. The Head-cam footage gives a unique perspective, but I believe it needs to be used sparingly and interspersed with other viewpoints as the constant movement can induce nausea when viewed on video. Perhaps a short burst of Head-cam followed immediately by normal-speed to settle any feelings of vertigo. 👍
