I lLOVE that she can be so comfortable not answering certain questions or even teasing the hosts. I hope this generation of popstars continues to experience that kind of freedom, especially in comparison to the invasive/inappropriate journalism of the 2000s and even much of the 2010s.
Yeah, I’ve been thinking about this SINCE around then, like “I wish these people felt empowered to just be like ‘ok I’m not gonna answer that bc of my own personal reasons’” or whatever it was. I’m especially glad the women are feeling comfortable and empowered to do that.

@@guyluvsbeautyyh but when all the other interviews are severely lacking at the music questions; it’s refreshing to see an interview that’s PURELY abt the music lol if interviewers would start doing an acc mix of the personal and production questions it would be heavenly tho
These interviewers have actully done their research and listened to the album fully, they know what they’re talking about. That’s so refreshing ! She seems genuinely eager to answer these questions. Great job !
I hate feeling like I have to skip songs on an album that's just released because of the multiple singles that came out months before its release so it makes a lot of sense to me that she wanted to release it all at once.
7:31 i love that artists have the "car test" because my fav place to listen to an album for the 1st time is in tbe car driving around the city. And thats what I did w/ HMHAS
@@Evitaschannel I think the way Billie is thinking of gassed is to mean "super excited about something", but I also use gassed to mean exhausted like the hosts do here. Alternatively "gas" by itself could also mean something is really good, or it just means weed lol really depends on the situation, I use them all
It's funny bc years ago I swear when she was interviewed on British slang and that came up she said that same definition and was shocked in what it meant over here 🤣
I love hearing Billie talk about anything, but you can truly tell how passionate she is about her music whenever she talks about it. Love the new album!!! 💙
i love the questions and how u guys just let her talk without interrupting i feel like the longer explanations when u give them more time to speak is so much more intriguing to watch i love her ugh
I listened to the entire album from the beginning till the end without any interruptions. It is so smooth, beautiful and fulfilling. I love her angelic voice and all the music so much. It is a masterpiece. I can’t stop thinking and listening. I’m super grateful for having this art available to us.
This makes so much sense. She produced, wrote and recorded it all herself and it feels so Billie Eilish. I feel like her first album, wwafawdwg is about depression, suicide and mental health matters. Happier than ever is really about her image to the public and how she represents herself. Hit me hard and soft is definitely about self image and relationships and I feel like this fits all so well together as how she's developing as a person and stuff😊
ALL interviewers should watch this & TAKE NOTES! Excellent interview. Respectful, interesting, fun, informative & even educational. These guys have a great rapport with Billie. Love the Finneas question, lol. 😄 He & Billie are both so talented & amazing. The whole family seems wonderful. 🥰
I’ve been a fan since 2017. The way she did a total 180° from WWAFAWDWG with Happier Than Ever and then came back and did ANOTHER full 180° with HMHAS is so beautiful. I love how she’s going back to her roots and being her true authentic self. 💕😭
I love how she says how you should listen to an album without interruption and live that she listens to her own music. How could you not. SO beautiful and talented.
I knew Billie from the first single, then second album had one great song and now "Lunch". Lunch is a perfect song. Respect. And Billie is a great girl.
I agree 100% on the instrumentals. I genuinely think humans recast better to real instruments than the pre-recorded ones on programs. This was an amazing interview.

Billie is incredibly insightful and able to convey her thoughts in a very clear manner whilst still being natural and polite. Love that for her, she seems genuine and happy!
Right, it's kinda confusing cause she has been doing a little of production for awhile, just like in bad guy like the other person commented, so idk why she's never credited on spotify, but when it's time to submit to the academy she usually is
Billie and Finneas are a dream team. Doing everything on their own brings so much more to the albums. It’s impressive being an artist but being able to produce and write your own music together is just crazy impressive.
I definitely got that vibe from the album, it came across exactly the way she wanted it to❤ I’m glad I listened to it the way she intended, I was at work and listened the the whole thing front to back and was so impressed. The songs fit together so well
No but I agree with her on the no singles and tbh although I haven't heard an album where anyone's done that I really liked just listening to a bunch of new music like she said rather than having to sit through the track we've alrwsdy heard
I agree that it's much preferable to listen to all of it at once, but yk, we do have to recognize not every artist can afford to do so😭 Luckily for Billie, she has a huge fanbase and she could release anything at any given moment, people would still consume it, so for someone like her or Taylor singles aren't necessary
I really enjoyed this interview. The interviewers were chill, they did their research and asked about the production of the music (which was very interesting btw), joked around, and Billie seemed not at all uncomfortable and happy to answer the questions. This is the right way to do an interview. Thank you!
her voice has matured so much, i'm so proud of her. and she genuinely seems happy.
