Buttercup Hanover is out in the first race this Friday at Mohawk. Out of the 6 hole. Half sister to Bulldog Hanover. A $25,000 robbery at the yearling sale. Jogged under a snug hold not a tight hold in the last qualifier. The 1:49.3 is history my guess is Sylvia Hanover breaks it first.

I always liked that horse even mentioned he'd win the North America Cup after only 3 races as a two year old. I would have been right if he had any driver better than Jamieson. Randy Waples was his first driver as a two year old.
