It's a nice and better way forward. Hindus must learn to respect their faith and that also includes not letting their religious places get restricted to merely a tourist spots. Why should anyone who does not acknowledge the teachings and values of The Sanatan Dharma be allowed inside a temple? Tolerance is one thing but you can't be tolerant to intolerance, can you?
I don't have any problems with those who are atheists in the actual sense of the term but what about the people from the abrahmic faith who straightaway refuse to acknowledge and respect our values. They have no business being inside the temple in my opinion.
Nothing wrong in Hindu temples becoming tourist spots, Temples need money to run. Its good for the temple, the people who work in the temple and around the temple, and there will be many good possibilities that will come out of it. There are some temple in India where man can't enter in temple but womam can and there are temple where both man and woman can't enter but only transgender people can it depends on deity's of temple.

Main reason ye bhi he ki mandir mai non-veg khake darshan or puja karne ki anumati nahi he. Hindu mai non veg khake or without body clean(bath) kiye mandir mai nahi jate....or other religion vale non veg or daily bath nahi karte islite bhi allowed nhi hota.
The reason behind not letting any foreigner and any non hindu inside this temple and also many other hindu temples across India is because of the foreign invasions of thousands of hindu temples in past . Thousands of temples like these had been destroyed by non hindu rulers of ancient times, I know its sad but its done for the sake of protection.... but , at last we don't have to go anywhere for our prayers to be heard if we pray with love and all of our heart, God can hear them and shower his blessings no matter which part of the world we are in.

Hindu Temples have some darshan codes that includes Cleanliness- South Indian tradition mandates head bath, some people take a dip in temple-tank, again have leg wash before entering. Satvik or Veg diet & dress code are important depending on the cultural sensitivity and tradition - Purity within and out. Each Temple has specific and special rituals which the devotees need to comply with. The non-belivers may not be aware of such practices. Not following these requirements would be considered a sacrilege. Especially, non-veg or animal food eaters are strictly asked to avoid. Even no-veg Hindus don't eat the day of going to the temple..some avoid non-veg for a week before visiting an important temple. These codes are not expected to be followed by non-believers. Its a matter of faith and belief.

@@parmeetkaur5372 Firstly, the rules are not strictly implemented. Since Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism are different sects of Hinduism only, So there will not be restrictions on these people. For dress code in some temples, then it is applicable to every single visitor even for Hindus. but for this too, there you can hire such dresses for darshan around the mandir premises itself.
