Just so you know, since you plan on streaming the game for a bit: Loki's third ability can be cancelled after the first swing. That pretty much let's you combo as fast as with his old kit. Also, you now stun with your ult *after you teleport,* with the double slash. You don't need to land on top of the enemy anymore. It pretty much means you have more range on it.
You and Myth back on Smite feels so good. Discovered you while playing the game back in 2016 or somthg, that was a time to be remembered. Had so much fun through that video, thanks man.

You should check out a fan made hollow knight project called the sanctuary, it looks really cool, and I think you might really enjoy playing through it once it comes out.
The reason why they got rid of aimed strike is because the massive burst given with auto attack cancels made him super strong in low level play, but almost unplayable at a high level. His new abilities make him a lot more balanced over all play levels

Best build for loki in s8 is Dmg boots, blue stone, crusher, ancile, mantle of discord You need nothing more hf one shotting the entire enemy team. Most fun in mid lane. Just rush ancile then crusher. Etc Also I prefer leveling the 2 and then 1. The 3 is more used for auto attack canceling in pvp fights
They thought about adding kratos to the game, but realized they would have to make him way to strong since he is "the slayer of the gods" and all. So decided to leave him out, this was about 3 years ago.
