Sorry 3 10 - 8 rounds, 2 points deducted and one of them judged it a draw, the corruption in boxing knows no bounds.
It depends. A knockdown does not guarantee a 10-8 round. It is well within the rules to award a 10-10 if the fighter knocked down wins the round overall.
We don't see it enough but should. Not saying thats what happened here - not seen scorecards - but it is definitely possible.
@@chrisstrange9828 firstly you mean they can judge it a 9 - 8 round if the person knocked down goes onto win the rest of the round, it cannot be scored 10 - 10. Secondly in this case all three were 10 - 8 rounds

Simple. Cos a knockdown does not guarantee winning the round. So does not have to be a 10-8 round. Its in the rules. That judge must have given okolie 5 out of 8 rounds and scored the knockdown rounds even. Not impossible

@@chrisstrange9828 If a fighter gets knocked down they have to win the round by a huge margin to not lose the round! Okolie didn't win any of the rounds he was knocked down by such a huge margin. Judges are highly encouraged to not score even rounds. Points deducted is different. In that case, the fighter can win the round and then it becomes a 9-9 round.
There's no way Okolie won enough rounds to have 5 points deducted (essentially) and get a draw!
@@chrisstrange9828 A knockdown in boxing is automatic 10-8, two knockdowns 10-7. There is no other option to get 10-8 besides the knockdown. What you say can be applied to MMA rules
