Such a joyous start with the girls teasing Joyce about her dress, and Joyce like a nervous teenager going on a first date, then Joyce turning the tables on Buffy saying she left her bra in his car, a great little juxtaposition as the mother acting like the daughter. An important episode in that we are introduced to Warren one of the most despicable characters in The Buffyverse, we also see Spike's obsession reaching a critical point, where he is asking Warren to make the Buffybot. At the end we see Buffy seeing Joyce on the sofa, what we think is maybe a very ordinary situation, but leading into the next episode, one of the greatest episodes in the whole series, and best pieces of tv drama ever shown. S3 was my favourite up until S5. The latter part of S5 is off the charts.
oh boy...
i kinda need to see you watch glee
You should have waited a full week to watch 5x16. That way you could really have time to go over it and over it and over it in your head for a whole week.😂
Fun episode, if a little weird... Until those final 15 seconds. 😢
Your crush on Giles returns? Where did it go?
oh no
omg I'm so fucking excited for the next episode...
It is one of the best episodes of television ever created.. the long no cut shot at the start.. the no music choice.. ugh.
Towne Row
I've never sped to the end of a reaction so fast!
I did...with ep 5x01!;-D
And here it comes...... Welcome to Buffy part II
...which is my _least_ favorite part. :-(
... i feel like any comment here would be a spoiler. I'll refrain. 😐
Since you seem to be watching right after. [Digital support]
In the intro she said she’s watching this one and the next one together and on her pinned comment she says she’s ahead a number of episodes on patreon.
Your patrons should of told you not to look at the name of episode 16
A rather dull episode if it wasn't because THAT ending that will lead to (allegedly) one of the greatest episodes in history, not only of this show, but TV in general... (Plus, that Cass shocked reaction. though)
Objectively I agree that"The Body"is 1 of the greatest episodes in TV History, but _personally_ I always found it _extremely boring_ and I find _this_ episode both more funny _and_ far more memorable!💗
