  • Guy had been burning up a Queen Anne hill outside our window for a good 15 mins before I started to film. He hit a gravel driveway towards the end and caught traction finally...

@danzigvi I get up many Seattle hills just fine with chains which is what the city advises drivers to use if driving is necessary. This is actually our small alley with ample parking above and below this little slope for the few condo buildings around us, he could've parked the block away and walked just fine.

The thing that nobody understands around here is you have to get a running start to get up a slippery hill. Every fricken time some idiot in front of me slows to almost a complete halt before attacking an ice hill. Several times I've swerved around them and made it up the hill and see them in my rear view stuck about 10' from the bottom.

That IS funny. People also laugh at babies falling on their butts and dogs knocking people down. It is human nature to laugh at these things (I'm talking to the idiot) ... If nobody gets hurt, anybody who isn't uptight can see the humor in somebody else's predicament. And, it is good you get up these hills fine with chains and doing "what the city advises." Aren't you just too absolutely perfect - wow.

I don't see what's so funny about a guy trying to get home. You keep laughing like a hyena, I'd like to see you try and get a car up a hill.
