Sounds like I’m lucky, I’m heading there for 3 weeks and my call center girl will use her pto and take a week off, she also works 8 hr shifts 5 days a week and she’s a supervisor that can work from home so she’ll take her laptop to my Airbnb and stay there. We’ll have a nice vacation together. The only downside is that she deals with medical physicians in the US so she works nights.
Please note that most of the call centre girls are interfacing with US customers. Therefore their hours are something like 10pm or midnight until 7 or 8am. The one I met worked in Cebu IT park and was totally exhausted. Didn't have enough energy to date or even eat properly.
Can't they take time off or get unpaid vacation?
yes, they can. that's a bandaid solution for a short visit. but for a relationship, she can't keep on taking vacations to spend time together.

The first relationship I had in Mandaluyong 6 yrs ago was with a call center agent. It worked as a long distance for approximately 2 yrs before coming but then realized once here you have to deal with the working hours which are long hours. They may be at night which will impact your time together. You might be sleeping while they are at work. Yes 6 days a week, and vacations are strictly regulated. They also have team building activities which are not optional. Even in their off time they can get called into work so it's not ideal for someone who is retired here.
I've never understood all the technical drama filled hype on spending time with a Filipina prior to landing your feet on the ground here. Whether it's 3 weeks, 3 months, looking short/long term just be natural & hang around the malls or any area w/social activity. It's SO easy to meet/talk w/women here that so many don't fully grasp it till u been here awhile on just how much attention you WILL get cuz yur a foreigner. People here are so much more open/welcoming that at times they will even approach you

My wife saved up her off time so she didn't have to work while I was there. She knows about the fact other girls can and will try to take her spot, that is how they are for sure lol

Great advice- all the more reason to be dating several at a time, and make sure they all know about it. These girls have been sold on the illusion that they can establish a serious relationship online, and that they can fall in love before ever meeting in person. Often insisting on being the only one, even before meeting in person. Absolutely correct that they are cannot tolerate any sense of competition, they just give up immediately and move on to the next profile that says what she wants to hear.

The smart way is to make friends with 10 to 30 women before arriving in Philippines,
and to meet all of them one by one while in Philippines,
and u dont even need to hide anything .
Just make it open that u are just making friends with anybody, men or women while on vacation .
This way u get to compare all the women without giving any of the women any chance to get unhappy, because u are open from the start that u are on vacation and open to meeting
and making friends with anybody.
If a woman is jealous that u meet other women,
then just dont bother to get close to her as u should have freedom to meet who ever u want

yah, and then watch her block you online. not going to work. what you say is the truth, but their choice is to not accept that condition. good filipinas want exclusivity from the beginning. unreasonable? yes. but with the good ones, that's how it is.

In Chiang Mai, Thailand 🇹🇭 I have a whole drawer of girls Knick-knacks: combs, brushes, hairspray, etc. I have my mini Claire’s mall store in my bathroom. I tell the girls I’m a butterfly, my nickname is “Papillon” with a butterfly tattooed on my chest. Tell them up front and always pay. Hell, the girls will never give and take from my miscellaneous drawer!

Good discussion! Over the years had the opportunity to talk with a few call center Filipinas myself while troubleshooting the internet connection or similar. Consider them professional and their English is good. One actually started a personal conversation, but due to reasons discussed, I was not interested.
I had this issue with my Thai gf. She arranged to have vacation while I was there. On subsequent visits, before I arrived, she worked overtime in order to get comp time off to be with me. That's the only way to go. Do not go if she has to work while you're there. You'll either be bored or get in trouble by finding other women.
Oh my goodness this is so true. The part about the hair, my god there are often hairs left inside hotel rooms because the cleaning staff doesn't do a 100% job. You could be completely innocent and she will come at you with the hair and you're in the doghouse. If I ever date there again I will personally clean everything first.
Secondly the lack of free time is real. Not just for call center but any office job, they are often studying at night as well. It's too bad because these are sometimes the sweetest girls!
Thirdly they find out because they have a network of friends. They know someone who works in the mall, or even in your hotel!
Fourthly it's shocking what crazy things they will do to keep you. The crazy comes out. It totally blindsides you because in the West women are so flakey, so you never expect the crazy possessive girlfriend experience from someone you just met!

Not true, my fiancé works for Verizon and has 2 days off , she gives me all her time . At the end of the day if you find the right one she will give you all her time.
not all call center filipinas work the same schedule as your fiance', or for verizon. many different companies providing customer support over a huge scale of businesses with different work hours.

But this relates to all filipinas who have a job and work 8-10 hours a day. Its not just Callcenters in particular. The only solution I see is to ask the girl to take some days off, to get some vacation days. (if thats possible or if she has some, I don't know). I mean, the guy already pays a lot for flight and accomodation, so I think it would be not too much to ask her to take some days off.
I'm living in the Phills. It is hard to date a girl that is working. Many of the jobs are 11 to 12 hours a day for 6 days a week. Long days, they are tired and many have a child also. One day off and things to get done on that day. Of course they want to see you, but it is difficult. But if they are not working then you have to wonder where they are getting their money?? maybe a sponsor or two. I hung out with a girl for awhile that had several overseas sponsors. I was not one of them. But she would show me the chats while we drank beer in my apartment. It was good entertainment. I would help tell her what to type back sometimes. It was great fun. She never had to ask for money or so she said. But she had a nice monthly average from about 8 guys. But she would stay over night with me once a week.

So the big downside is a lot of death time? Come on. In places like Cebu there is such a lot to see. You can go to fitness or even go biking, to the beaches, to the mountains... What is better than having the day for yourself without any girl and meet the girl for the night. You are on holiday and also want to relax...
Dating multiple girls? Really, once you found the one, what a waste of time and money.
First of all Most of the call centers are working at night to match up with the US daytime.
Women do that here the west too because I had a girl that was homeless and pregnant.
So that and we weren't sleeping together.

Great video! You are spot on about the call center workers or anybody else who has a full time 6 day a week job. The same goes for OFWs. How could a foreign guy ever expect to get to know an OFW? If they are domestic help in the middle east or Hong Kong or wherever, they are basically house slaves. Another thing to think about is if a Filipina is a relatively high earner (call center, OFW, etc.), she is likely supporting the family back home. If the foreigner wants to marry her and take her back to his home country, guess who gets to replace the Filipinas income?
Exactly all of that is true, when I was with a call center agent they were supporting their family. It's not ideal for someone who is retired here. As far as house slaves/domestic help it's even worse. I know of one such scenario where the employer is trying to marry them off to an older Japanese guy. Live in maids have no possibility of a life. I wouldn't even know where to begin with that.
Most call centers have a two-day off. Those who work in local malls (e.g. groceries, department stores) usually have a one-day off. Worked for both industries.

Seems like this is true of most PH girls with jobs - from full time maids to mall shop employees. 6 days a week, long hours, maybe an hour long bike or bus ride to and from.
But, you'd like to meet a girl who has a job, and money - less of a chance she's after your money.
Even many girls that don't have a job work long hours taking care of siblings, doing household chores, running errands for the family, etc. PH girls work their butts off, for the most part, from what I can see.
And even if we're just emailing with them, we get mad because they won't take the time to write multi-page letters and 3 hour video chats with us. What are they supposed to do, quit their job to be available to some dude 3 thousand miles away who's probably going to dump them when they find out she's the sole support for her parents anyway?
I guess my point is, we should try as hard as we can to put ourselves in her place, try to understand what she is dealing with on a daily basis, have patience (the watch word for the PH apparently :) ) and adjust our expectations accordingly. Once she see's you're doing that, I'd think you'd move up several notches in her book.
appreciate the insight into the hard work and dedication of ph girls. it's true, empathy and understanding go a long way in any relationship, especially when dealing with different cultural dynamics. adjusting expectations and having patience can really make a difference. knowing what one is getting into, being aware, is a huge advantage as well.

less pitfalls than dating a woman with a job. however, do not move a girl into your place if she is poor and has nowhere to return to. or comes from another island. untangling that mess without leaving her homeless becomes a major problem.
for at least the first 3-months dating a filipina who is unemployed... do NOT move them in with you.
Nothing is going to happen in 3 weeks guys you have to last 5 years before you will start to understand the Philippines & it's people I'm still in culture SHOCK after 42 months full time here also guys all of our experience in other countries means NOTHING here

I'm marrying a call center girl. :-) After her shift is BREAKFAST. You wake up in the morning she will be asleep. Do you know call center workers who work days? I work nights. I loved my call center girl sleeping over days with me. PSST: they also work 5 days not 6 and pretty normal 8 hours.
the few i dated in Cebu (IT Park) and Dumaguete worked 6-days. each company has its own work schedule.
That's just not the case they do not work 6 days a week
some do some don't. plus they routinely have "team building" days which are mandatory.

and two of my former g/f's, both in dumaguete, worked at a call center.. 6 days a week. and a young expat from UK i met, worked at a call center... 6 days a week.
so, like said... some do, some don't.
This is totally different from my Filipina. We've been seeing each other for 3 years now. She works in a call center. She only works 5 days a week.
And every time I've visited, she uses vacation time(paid) and if she's out of vacation time, she'll take leave(unpaid). She has been great to me.
Guys in this situation... if you're going to meet someone you want a relationship with, Why in the world would you go playing with others while she's away?!
Before the call centers went to India, they were in Appalachia! I worked in call centers in TN and NC 30 years ago. The burnout in those jobs is real. I think as long as I had money coming in and she didn't have a future in management, I would advise her to keep her job for the first year of a live in relationship, just to save her money. Then look at ending the call center job, and either her get into college or a part time service job while I cover her expenses. If you're still a couple after a year, she's a keeper. But you likely won't be with a happy person if she's going through the building stress of a call center career.
The call center girls have a degree already. Hard to get any good job here without a degree. That is considered a good job.

i create them AI generators. are these type of women in the PH? yes and no. yes.. but they are about 10% of the women you'll see, at most. (the 9's and 10's) the 5's through 8's make up another 15% or so.
Another great video. Before I went to SE Asia I made an agreement with myself, do no harm. Part of what that means was date one person at a time. I stick to that, as honest with myself and women, and it has worked out great. Respect is another part of my formula in dating. There are consequences to behavior. I fully understand your point but why not explain & make it know from the get go to the Filipina you're mainly interested in that you will be meeting other Filipinas during your stay? Especially if the main Filipina you're interested in is a working Filipina. I mean it is unreasonable for her to expect you to waste your time doing nothing on your vacation when you could be vetting. That's a🚩and a sign of problematic woman if she expect this. Particularly if this is a 1st time visit & you're NOT a couple yet.
