Most people are familiar with normal message prefix commands, also the slash command implementation is different in pycord and discord.py and since this was a tutorial on selects which should work with both libraries I went with normal commands.
bro please bring more tutorials on the same and also please make a latest intro to discord.py and py-cord explaining intents and difference b/w Bot and Client method.

Bot is a subclass of Client as part of the extension command framework. Client is the base API implementation for interacting with the Discord API.
