Same. I wasn't too surprised to see blue tones for shading - many do that - however the placement of the shades and the inclusion of tan/pink into the blue of the eyes was unexpected but still very nice looking.

My most favorite part to watch is when you color the eyes and skin :) u always use odd colors like blue and green (in your other videos), and it always come out looking so awesome! :)
As a fine arts major, I can tell you that using warm and cool colors together, layering them, or using them next to each other causes that really big pop effect. Cool colors recede into space, and warm colors pop into the front of what your looking at. Also, shadows are generally more purple and blue than black and grey. If you really look and study them you'll start to see what I mean. :) This is a masterfully done marker painting, but I do thinj the neck are is a little too dark. Other than that it's awesome. :)

So basically the whole video ;-). Just teasing. Ditto on the other comments. The colors she uses aren't really odd, they are intelligent. It shows how smart she is and how creative she is. As my own teachers say "You need to know the rules to break them"... she is able to make such an amazing out put because she uses her knowledge and her own creativity to her advantage. It's why so many people subscribe over 1 video.

Randomness TS Happy Kappa I use the bristol by strathmore and it does fairly well. A lot of people use it. I have also heard a lot of youtube artist use Blending card by x-press. I just order this so I do not know how well this works yet.

You are without a doubt one of the best at utilizing copics to their full potential. Your use of negative space and how you highlight other areas with 3 and sometimes 4 colors....

Watching you blend the colors is extremely satisfying. I sort of just sit here in a trance. I really really like how you use purple, blues and rose colors so much.
I still think these eyes need the major catch light. They are missing a directional light refraction, so they still kind of look dead.

yeah i know that, but those character are drawn dark, wtih pale skin and lips. this person is too vibrant for that representation

Gorgeous! Great use of colors. I've also been using muted blues for my shadows too, when I use pastels, but I've never thought of using purples. I just got my first markers (Copics) so we'll see how that goes! :)
