The nesting box should not be too close to the litterbox. It should also be deeper, partially enclosed and filled with hay. It should be big enough for her to comfortably sit in and move around in. Your rabbit will likely build her nest here as pregnant bunnies will need to find an area that will keep their babies warm and safe. She will not use it as a litterbox, provided you put it in her cage a week before she gives birth. By now, your rabbit may be pulling fur and trying to get as much hay as possible to build a nest.
