there's no point at the moment, since it is only week 1 of the PTS. By Week 3 we will have more solid info on final changes, can see how the new blastbones works, and if it is worth using it.
DK got buffed just because burning and poisoned status effects got nerfed by 6% and 30% per tick. Hemorrhaging also got gutted by 58% per tick. Meanwhile all other status effects got buffed by 88% - 106% at the expense of skills and passives associated with them doing less dmg and/or lowering their proc chance. So this patch's dance has these steps: buff skills/passives = nerf status effects; nerf skills/passives = buff status effects, with some minor exceptions like debilitate.
Wait... is there something else with Necro after that Blastbone change? I'm majorly confused does this buff you get now even remotely cover the loss of Blastbones damage?
20% damage boost to Pillar, Relequen, Whorl, etc with the new ability, and you can slot a different ability for damage instead. Also the stamina morph is staying the same but made cheaper, so not a huge issue if you prefer OG Blastbones.
I dont understand how is that a buff..Veiled strike used to pump our overall damage by 10% and now ONLY this ability will deal 10% more damage overall. Leeching strikes looks juicy indeed but Veiled Strike..idk man
Necro absolutely got buffed this patch, not nerfed. They just gave necro 20% more power in a good niche (DOTs) giving it some identity as a class. Necro was never bad per se but it didn’t bring anything to the table that other classes didn’t, beyond the Major Vulnerability, so the only reason people wanted them was as ult bots or to get 100% uptime on EC easily. Also, gotta remember how powerful a 20% buff to DOTs is. That’s a big damage boost to Relequen/Pillar, Aegis Caller, Whorl, all the big dps sets. Magcro is eating well.

They should do more to necromancer
Loving the NB changes, now I can be a full-time Blood Mage. :P Oh and NB will be somewhat less weaving reliant, good.
Necro took yet another beating.
can we use concealed weapon as a spammable instead of rapid strike now ?
Would you do a quick video showcasing the necromancer rework? I don't see anyone talk about it or even try using it so far.

If you listen closely, you can hear my vamp magblade giggling in excitement.
So is arancist start getting nerf this year?
Wow it's not that bad as expected :D
Did sorcerers keep the extra magicka % from bound aegis as well or did they remove it for expert summoner
For a moment i was excited, cause i thought we could changes classes but it was a dream
i think necromancer gets buff not a nerf because now its easy to keep up the rotation

Okay I guess I'll make a soc a tank thx game
do blastbones still do initial damage?
only stamina morph
I'm loving my nightblade even more now!
My NB loves this patch too :D

i think we need to use as spammable right now xd
Really no Templar buff 🤦🏾♂️😂I can’t with this game
Im sorry but did you just say DK is getting.... a BUFF? In what world does the DK need a buff? Why does DK always get buffed?
Calm your tits. It’s mainly combustion damage increase. The other two is more of changing things to make it better to hybrid
It's becoming apparent with each patch that ZOS favors Nightblade. They are literally making Necromancer unplayable...
Nightblades have been notoriously the most difficult class to master.
THEY DESTROYED THE TORMENTOR SET. NO MORE AOE TAUNT. NO MORE WEREWOLF TANK......
Such a L bruh arc beam nerfed now the class will be dead for sure
