my skin went this red for like 1 day and then sunburnt looking for like 3 days and then dry flaky skin, feels dry and tight too. this is better than any other treatment in my opinion

for face with active acne, i recommend you doing the peels first till the acne gone or reduce to minimum amount, then you can do this microneedling to get rid of the post-acne spot or your post-acne skin surface (you know post -acne hole on face) so the skin surface will be smoother and got rid of dark spot, and got rid of keloids, wrinkles too. And after that you can do microneedling with whitening serum to brighten your skin. Hope it helps

Hey there! For pigmentation we usually recommend a topical cream in the retinoid family (sorry we can’t write rx names on YT in the UK 😁)
I thought you couldn't do micro needling with active break outs?
You can not!! It will spread the bacteria across the face. I would definitely not recommend for ones to do microneedling on active acne especially since the skin is open and exposed!

I have hyperpigmentation along my chin and jaw line due to hormonal imbalance, I did a chemical peel it reduced it by a lot but I know I need to do more treatments for it and I’m looking into the microneedling

I thought microneedling was a permanent thing. So the results only last up to an year and then goes back to normal?
Since collagen diminishes with age, you'll want to keep doing it to regain the results (at least for aging). For scars, I think it's permanent.

Can someone please explain why she said that the results will last a year if we are fading scars and damaging skin by needling so it reheal and build extra collagen To repair shouldn’t the results last a lifetime if ur scar is healed. The fading of the scars will be permanent (if taken proper care of ofc) the boosted collagen and the benefits that come with it like minimized wrinkles, glowing skin and minimized pored will eventually fade

If the results last “up to a year” does that mean the scars return?
No the scars do not return- we just recommend a maintance treatment for collagen production.
Some people have reported the appearance of melasma after a few microneedling sessions. I would like to know in which cases this could occur.
We have not had any cases of melisma after skin pen however we screen with high Fitzpatrick and we sometimes refer to topical skincare over micro needling - hope that helps
what is the needle length you guys typically use for normal red scars, and atrophic scars( slightly dented scars)
1.25-1.5 we follow the skin pen 🖊️ recommendations with passes and depth it really is the best!

It means u can see the full results or improvement up to a year. Same with fractional laser. You need the healing time for collagen to build.
This is permanent treatment for scars does not scars come back this treatment based on build up of natural building of collagen at its natural healing of body

I have a question and I hope you can answer me, I’ve had two sessions of Microneedling so far for a pitted scar and they seem to always avoid the scar and go around it in a circle around the edge and now I’m noticing the Undamaged skin is rising higher creating even a deeper look in the scarred area. is this normal or they should’ve hit the centre on the scar as well?

You should talk to them or see someone else, my dermatologist intentionally goes over my prominent pitted scars with a deeper needle AND more times, because that’s where we want the skin to renew/rebuild!!!

Why you are not using any serums that has skin regeneration functions? Only use a glyserin and calming cream? Is it okay to use a niacinemide and vitamin A serum to boost collagen?

Im an esthetician. I work at a plastic surgery office and we use Skin Pen. She should absolutely NOT be putting an SPF on for 24 hours. Skin Pen mandates this.

@@austinja913 depending on how deep your scarring is it will take a few sessions to clear your face. I had severe scarring over my whole face and 80% has healed. The scars I have is from recent acne and not the ones had for years.

Will it help in reducing the pore size
Theoretically it should. Pore size r technically fixed, but removal of plugs like blackheads can help minimize its appearance. Microneedling (of a certain depth) helps rebuild collagen growth which, by right, will fill up more space of ur dermis, hence "closing" up the pores.
U can use retinol too

Is there anyone who should avoid microneedling? Im terrified to do my skin more damage but have seen so many positive reviews on this. Ive booked myself in for a first session but is there a chance I could be left with worse skin ? Do some people skin just never repair?
We would not advise microneedling on skin with inflammed acne this would need to heal before we move forward.

It can help reduce the appearance through time and after many sessions permanently. But if your scars are very severe and very deep lasers and stem cell injections and prp are better options

I’ve used it once for my acne scare but didn’t see any difference I’m going for my next session on 10 jul hope it help this time 🙂

Pores are part of your skin. You can never remove them, however this treatment can minimize the appearance of pores.
Keep in mind though, no one has a "poreless" face and most faces you see are photoshopped

I have the same question. the doctor kept saying you'll get lasting results for up to a year. I'm confused! Do I waste 30k for 3 sessions and wait months for collagen buildup and then have my results last for one year only? tha'ts daylight theft if you ask me.

Acne scarring..hmm, well if they’re real scars i.e. tiny localized connective tissue areas I can’t really see how they can easily turn into skin regeneration but possibly the non affected tissue responds and then was the anaesthetic cream also needled in and not wiped off? - just wondering what happened in time

I had a consultation recently. The price was $2700 (US dollars) for 3 sessions and then you are supposed to go once a year for maintenance. Pretty pricey but I think it would be worth it to get rid of acne scars.

Clinical microneedling is far superior and safer and more effective.

Not painful??? I had 3 sessions and all of them were painful. Cheeks weren’t as bad because of more “meat”, but the forehead and lip was horrible.

Scars are annoying as hell, the amount events I have avoided in my life simply because of my scars. I have tried every expensive treatments and products and I'm still on this path because you keep telling yourself at the end of the day, it would be better or it will change because of scars are so small that it has to be improved but no! It doesn't matter if it's your first session or your hundredth session the shiit does not go away and I have gone to the best clinic out there.
Uffh my stupid scars are located on the face too at the bottom, I have notice that growing beard and using various of beard fillers is by far the best way of covering them up, beards are truly natural makeup for men the only problem I have patchy beard because of the scars but beard filler easily fixes that. I also feel like whenever I grow my beard the scar tissue or the skin texture seems to improve versus when I have shaved the problem area I don't why? If you're a girl maybe thicker/layered makeup is your best friend here. I have also introduced skin routines with ordinary balance set
Regarding the girl on this video, she actually have a good skin, a little bit raised redness here and there but that could very easy be even out with makeup I would believe.

Have you tried a phenol peeling? It is the deepest chemical peel. I also tried a lot and nothing worked. I'm quiet scared of the phenol peeling but I guess it's the only thing that would work.

milder microneedling treatment is in the plan aw well.
So initially when I wrote this, the scars were quite red and raised. They are not red anymore but the don't have same color as the rest of skintone. I'm taking up very serious now with my morning skin routines like face scrub and face wash than I did before and moisturising the face.
I think time heals everything, the best treatment is sometimes wait and not doing this kinda treatment all the time especially if the scars are still active during the healing process.
If you got acne like this. forget all treatments, including this one. Just take roaccutane.

Hi there, I am not a dermatologist but I was on isotretinoin (accutane) and you can not, if you are applying it topically I do not see why you wouldn’t be able to, but definitely not if you are taking it orally like I was, hope this helps

@@jhonnycastro383 thanks. I microneedled with 0.25mm dermapen with stamping method for acne scars & my skin went red at first then after 12-24hrs it dryed & skin peeled itself in that area. Because there was visible redness for more than 2 days I applied water chilled wet cloth to my skin which reduced little redness & inflammation then I continued to apply moisturiser. It’s 12th day after that micro needling session My skin is still little dark in that area. Should I start applying cicaplast now?
@@uday189p Yes, I would start cicaplast, but it sounds like you have problems with hypermigmentation, try incorporating vitamin C into your routine, redness and dryness is absolutely normal. But take it easy, search for microneedling and watch videos only from dermatologists or aestheticians explaining the method. In the first 24 hours it is not recommended to use anything besides the hyaluronic acid that I use during the microneedling session and then you can apply cicaplast and sunscreen and after 3 days you can use acids like vitamin C
