Cheers James , i usually fish Harray from the boat with a mate from Orkney we usually catch plenty. That was just a quick stop on Harray , i went to Kirbister loch but it was really low and weedy so i never bothered,
Hi Will, yeah it was just a quick session ..after the fishing i went to get a bite to eat and find a camp spot , i'm sure you seen that on the other channel . I went to Kirbister Loch but was really low and a lot weed ..so i just sacked it and bought a few cans and pitched the tent in South Ronaldsay ..

My grandfather William Balderstone lived nearby and would have fished Harray Loch in the 70s and 80s.
Hi Stevie, what weight fly rod do you recommend for this Loch? Thanks
Hi Craig , a 10ft 6 or 7 weight rod is perfect 👍
The fish on Harray are well distributed around the loch. I moved one every 15 minutes. It does have good fish and my best was 2lbs.
Yeah it’s a cracking loch one of my favourites
