Sabbath to me is the greatest band ever assembled. greatest riff guitarist ever in Iomi, greatest drummer ever in Bill Ward, greatest Bass player ever in Geezer Butler and 2nd greatest front man ever in Ozzy. (Freddy Mercury existed after all)
Sabbath is still blowing people away all these years later - truly important song and sadly we are heading closer to this hunger games video everyday with clowns in charge globally - more Sabbath bruh! BTW Ozzy and the guitarist went to high school together. When Toni put out an ad for a singer they initially blew off Ozzy because Toni thought he was joking until later Ozzy showed up with Geezer (bass player who played guitar not bass at the time!) lookin for a drummer (the legendary Bill F'n Ward) they gave it a try and the rest is history. Toni almost went to become the guitarist for Jethro Tull - another band you should react too.
One of the best anti-war songs ever written. Which is probably why they attacked it as evil when it was released for having the word Satan in it. Yeah, that was their real problem with it. I'm sure it had nothing to do with it saying they would be begging for mercy at the feet of God on judgment day. lol

It’s not so cheesy. If you actually pay attention to it, it’s quite relevant. It’s obviously not linear. Carrying a blood soaked blindfold for everyone to see, is very indicative of the war situation in industrial countries.
