I can't really understand why people would say you talk too much. How informative the videos are is now unnecessarily reduced. We invented a mute button for a reason so there doesn't seem any probable cause to even mention such a silly comment. As someone who just started learning about flutemaking listening to your monologe has helped me progress so much faster than purely watching.
Always be YOU! If we don’t watch it people will have us living our lives the way they intend us to live. And being the best version of them we can be. You are a completely genuine artist in every sense of the word, intuitively guided and never need to explain how you blossom. There are other TH-cam videos they can watch since you and your videos are not good enough for them. Never be hushed! BLOOM !
Thank you so much for your kind words! As I'm dealing with a few more astringent and important issues, your point was so genuine that it very much helped me with those as well! Thank you again!
wish this had commentary. I for one enjoy you talking too much👍 Your style is just so full of details. Its not you it is impatient people. Some things are just not going to be learned on youtube. I appreciate how you work hard to provide all the info you can. It helps people like myself immensely. Thank you sir!
As a wood worker, that doesn't look too difficult. I've made a cigar box ukulele, cigar box bass and a cigar box 3 string guitar. They turned out great. I really have gotten to like the sounds of this instrument so time to give a go at making some. I'll subscribe and pop in quite often as you look like you know your way around this craft. Cheers
I am Yaqui and wish I knew how to make these instruments! My local tanf building offers Navajo language courses but so much of native culture has been lost including the connection to the music! Thank you for posting! And ignore the haters. Would love to hear you speak! Now I’m headed to watch your other videos !!

Just bought this exact flute from you as my 1st one! It has a beutiful tone! I'm going to see about buying your book as well, and making a flute of my own eventually. Such a beautiful instrument!
This was a great video. I really enjoyed the flute background music and the measurements you showed us along the way. It was nice to sit and relax on lunch after a rough morning at work. I made my first couple of bamboo flutes and I am having a lot of fun making and playing them. Your book and videos are outstanding. I can't wait to receive my flutes that I ordered, it is always nice having original work from someone you look up to and learn a lot from. Keep up the great work! :)

Not on this particular song my friend, one day when I have more time maybe I'll get to write it all out! I will certainly consider that for the upcoming albums!
Hi. I just wanted to ask what are the measurements on 3:30 and 3:40 of the video? I actually watched the video where you talk and prefered it. But I don't know if I skipped the those measurements tgere or they weren't mentioned. Thanks
Hi. Please, can you write me where exectly must I drill the holes? You show it in video with metre, but I cann't see it exactly. I will make these double native indian flute for my own. Thank you very much. Robo

Well personally I enjoy your monologs! Gives your videos more personality and you always explain things well. Are the links listed in this description the same exact flute as this? I've been dying to try making a drone, but I only have the router drill, sander and torch. I dint have a planner. Will it still come out as well?
master Congratulations on your videos. One key question. From the video you don't see an important step for those who want to build From the side where you blow it should not be drilled until you open the chambers?????lei when he closes the flute he closes it without drilling the two chambers...then once closed he does not drill them....but how does air pass through???

Nice job 😊I made the same but without our tools so i have some difference like tube is not perfect cicrcle and the space where you put the block for the song is m little more long . But only one side make sound ? Its because im bad with flute or tow side suposed to make sound when i blow in ?

They're narcissistic trolls just trying to aggravate him.
I say ignore the few people that complain about your talking. They can always mute the video. The rest of us enjoy your commentary.

3/4" (19mm) diameter or 3/8" radius

It sounds like two flutes playing at once. Is that the whole idea of a drone flute?
yes
Exactamente! 😀
Is it necessary to put the hole on the other side of a A drone flute?
Nope, however it is easily playable by most people and makes for a wonderful melodic experience!
May I ask what the liquidity substance is that you squirter in the chambers?

@Love please 🥦 I would not. It's unsafe, the shine doesn't last, sticks parts together that need to be able to move and is historically wrong.
