6 months monk mode, 3 months party, 3 months recharge - this is balance Iman. Imbalance would be only working and not having other aspects of your life at all. Having periods of focus on one thing doesn't mean you are out of balance at all. It's semantics, but all life strives towards balance and harmony.

I just found your channel from Hamza, and I just realised that there are alot of times where I have unintentionally gone into "monk mode". I would guess this is mostly because I am religious (Islam) and alot of your frameworks are highly encouraged / banned in my faith (exercise , no alcohol, no porn, meditation, prayer etc). Especially during the period Ramadhan where we have to fast from food and drink and other pleasurable things (having sex with our spouses, refraining from video games, music, social media etc and using the time to put it towards your faith etc) from sunrise to sunset. Its honestly the time of year i look forward to the most because I feel the most focused mentally and spiritually and I can get ALOT done from that period. Anywho, you earned a subscriber! I just noticed, I just watched his latest video and now I am watching this & I realised the communication skills of Iman have completely changed. This made me realise that when you really work on something and give it time, you start seeing results and within just months this man has completely changed and this made me realise no matter what we achieve we need to keep working on ourselves until we die. The meditation is awesome. I never knew that I would need this until watching your video and I knew I had to try it. My whole entire body felt like it was vibrating 100% a non-negotiable.
Immersion is the perfect word. It applies especially to languages but I didn’t even realize how I had previously been applying it to my business success until I watched this video. Having your entire TH-cam feed filled with whatever the topic of your business is, filling your Twitter with it and staying as up to date as possible, etc… “Monk Mode” builds a high level of discipline more than anything. Which at the end of the day is why success is simple if you are able to control yourself and stay focused using discipline. Simple doesn’t mean easy, as otherwise everyone would be doing it. But yeah, had no idea I was already pretty much doing monk mode in the past but instead of meditation (which I wasn’t aware of at the time) I would read self improvement books for 20 minutes a day.
CrossFit training+Olympic lifting+bodybuilding(depending on bulk, cut, or maintenance eating) is my gym schedule. I get a lot of crap for it. I know it’s not relevant to the video but hearing you say you do CrossFit made my day!

Monk Mode literally MADE my life. If it wasn't for Monk Mode I wouldn't have started my agency, wouldn't be growing my blog and TH-cam channel, wouldn't be investing in my self-improvement, wouldn't have found meditation (which, I should add, I always thought was a pile of sh*t, how wrong I was!). I've made my own Monk Mode videos and I'm just about to enter my fifth cycle on Monday. When I'm in Monk Mode I feel more like true me. Hey, I'm actually a 16yo French High schooler trying to improve himself everyday. I learn a lot on self improvement and it's working !! Now, I'm hitting gym 6x a week for 1.5 year , follow a diet, I bought my first stocks last months, asked for the first time a girl for a date (it was my gymcrush but unfortunately she told me she already had someone after the date but nvm) I've never been that brave to ask that, I never had relationship, my socialskills were non existent but now, I'm gaining more and more confidence day after day !! I can say that meditation really does make you feel free. It makes you more focussed on yourself and not look left and right on other distracting things in the world.
Great video Iman, I am currently in Monk Mode (day 18), my 2 variables are sleeping before 12 o’clock and waking up at 8 in the morning, the other one is learning at least 2 subjects a day or put in 1 hour of work for school because, I am still in school and just had my testweek. What I found most effective about Monk Mode so far is that meditating helps clear your mind and focus a lot, and waking up everyday at the same time is just great for your energy and focus!

My personal monk mode protocol: $ Make my be the moment I wake up. $ Gratitude journal. $ Meditate. $ Workout. $ Skin care. $ Read. After following these routine I feel perfect and peaceful but I feel like something is missing inside me… idk maybe because of my breakup or something…. Just missing something and i am sad sometimes. I don’t do that alcohol/weed part I will start it now. I even stopped praying… I am starting it from now on. I am on a low carb protein diet so yeah I follow it and once in a while I have a cheat meal. I also have to start waking up early in the morning like 5am.

I didn't even know I had a monk mode until after I finished this video. It was straight three months of me quitting socials, gaming, and other entertainment, just to devote myself to studying new knowledge. Because of this, I immersed myself in being a successful trader. Although you may lose out on some of the social life, you can always make that up anytime.
i consciously deleted all my social media, i saw that it was affecting my time and efficiency, so the fact that it was mention on the video gives me comfort knowing i did it for myself without knowing monk mode was a thing
I like this idea. Often when I try to make a positive change, I end up backsliding, feeling shame and guilt, and abandoning the attempted improvement. With this protocol, it's not directly about permanent transformation, but instead about cultivating discipline for a defined, realistic, temporary period of time. I think that sounds more achievable and motivating and like a good way to build up your discipline without knocking yourself down, at the same time as giving yourself time to experience the benefits that hitting your personal targets can bring about in your life. Monk mode is essentially having a system, having core values to instill discipline and healthy habits while being conscious when it's time to let loose and have fun - a conscious decision to monitoring the potential of bad habits so your lifestyle, goals, discipline and everything you have worked hard for doesn't deteriorate. I never heard of the Monk mode protocol, but it makes sense. You work hard, then you get some personal time and you prepare for the next work period. Btw 10 minutes a day of meditation is incredible, the effects are so good in the long term!

Just wanted to hop on here and tell you guys about my great experience with Monk mode so far! I’m doing a 21 day cycle. I’m on day 10 and it has been amazing. Literally crushing this month’s goals and finishing everything WAY faster than usual. One of the biggest factors for me has been leaving my phone in another room/hidden away and getting rid of distractions. I’ve been able to focus for hours on end which I haven’t experienced in many years since I’ve become self employed. I increase the intensity of monk mode every week so I do outreach to 100 people this week as opposed to 50 people last week. I also added another variable for this week like reading 10 pages of a self development book which I will also increase next week. Trying to see how I can push myself to do even better. Thank you Iman for sharing this. So glad I stumbled upon it.

I have pretty much done your monk mode basic formula last summer, but after I drank alcohol after 2 months the magic just vanished and the main problem was that I stopped meditating. Starting tomorrow I will follow the 10 mins daily, getting the exercise in, no drinking/pot, and I'm going to add 30 mins of reading on top of that! I got 16 two weeks ago and since i was 15 i just always wanted to achieve my dreams and i have a deal with my father that if i can comfortably affort a gt3 rs before the end of university i can cancel it. My personal monk mode protocol:
$ Make my be the moment I wake up.
$ Gratitude journal.
$ Meditate.
$ Workout.
$ Skin care.
$ Read.
After following these routine I feel perfect and peaceful but I feel like something is missing inside me… idk maybe because of my breakup or something…. Just missing something and i am sad sometimes.
I don’t do that alcohol/weed part I will start it now. I even stopped praying… I am starting it from now on. I am on a low carb protein diet so yeah I follow it and once in a while I have a cheat meal. I also have to start waking up early in the morning like 5am.

I didn't even know I had a monk mode until after I finished this video. It was straight three months of me quitting socials, gaming, and other entertainment, just to devote myself to studying new knowledge. Because of this, I immersed myself in being a successful trader. Although you may lose out on some of the social life, you can always make that up anytime.

i consciously deleted all my social media, i saw that it was affecting my time and efficiency, so the fact that it was mention on the video gives me comfort knowing i did it for myself without knowing monk mode was a thing
I like this idea. Often when I try to make a positive change, I end up backsliding, feeling shame and guilt, and abandoning the attempted improvement. With this protocol, it's not directly about permanent transformation, but instead about cultivating discipline for a defined, realistic, temporary period of time. I think that sounds more achievable and motivating and like a good way to build up your discipline without knocking yourself down, at the same time as giving yourself time to experience the benefits that hitting your personal targets can bring about in your life. I'm looking forward to giving this a try. Thank you for sharing this idea along with your thoughts about and experiences using this method.

Monk mode is essentially having a system, having core values to instill discipline and healthy habits while being conscious when it's time to let loose and have fun - a conscious decision to monitoring the potential of bad habits so your lifestyle, goals, discipline and everything you have worked hard for doesn't deteriorate. This is what I got from this video, and i love how it's personalized to each individual. It's an insurance policy to achieve your goals as well.

I never heard of the Monk mode protocol, but it makes sense. You work hard, then you get some personal time and you prepare for the next work period. Btw 10 minutes a day of meditation is incredible, the effects are so good in the long term!

. I recommend to stop listening to music it's stressful and sometimes makes you sad or can change your mood negatively
. I highly recommend fasting as a variable

Well done. To add, Monk mode is a conversation to have with your partner or wife in terms of setting expectations around bouts of time, weeks or months that you are in MONK MODE for, as well as creating space for time out to work towards etc, hope that helps.

Just wanted to hop on here and tell you guys about my great experience with Monk mode so far!
I’m doing a 21 day cycle. I’m on day 10 and it has been amazing. Literally crushing this month’s goals and finishing everything WAY faster than usual. One of the biggest factors for me has been leaving my phone in another room/hidden away and getting rid of distractions. I’ve been able to focus for hours on end which I haven’t experienced in many years since I’ve become self employed.
I increase the intensity of monk mode every week so I do outreach to 100 people this week as opposed to 50 people last week. I also added another variable for this week like reading 10 pages of a self development book which I will also increase next week. Trying to see how I can push myself to do even better.

I have pretty much done your monk mode basic formula last summer, but after I drank alcohol after 2 months the magic just vanished and the main problem was that I stopped meditating. Starting tomorrow I will follow the 10 mins daily, getting the exercise in, no drinking/pot, and I'm going to add 30 mins of reading on top of that! Going to update you in a month how it went, but I'm already excited! Thanks for the great video, mate!
My monk mode:
* Two hours of meditation (may seem extreme, but I pretty much do that daily now)
* No drugs, alcohol, or sugar.
* 30 minutes of yoga
* No social scrolling
* Do ONLY one thing at a time
The sugar and doing one thing at a time are the ones that feel like they will be the most difficult, and therefore the most transformative.
Bro I just wanted to say that I literally been asking the universe for a spirit guide/mentor. Mind you I have never watched your videos before. A week ago I stumbled upon this spiritual shop I happened to like the music and shazamed it. Guess who they were playing? Mj! The next time same thing happened guess who this time? You were brought to my life by the Universe and I am greatful. So from now on you and only you are my mentor!
I got 16 two weeks ago and since i was 15 i just always wanted to achieve my dreams and i have a deal with my father that if i can comfortably affort a gt3 rs before the end of university i can cancel it. Now i found you and this i think is the perfect time for me to start doing Monk mode and just go straight to succes. The only thing i am aware of is that i am not 18 and can´t do some things that are neccessary to start my own buisness.
I feel very proud to find out after watching your video that I was unconsciously already in monk mode! haha it's been 1 month since I've started mine and and I am already seeing that I am becoming a new me and being more productive in my business, definitely something you have to go through if you want to achieve your goals!
